Why not simply add an 'IF' in the workflow template? director = approval path A not director = approval path B.
And, as Modak suggested, don't use a personal number but org unit or some other indicator that will not require changing the workflow template if the director changes.
Such senrion mostily happens coz of the corrupt group or some bug related to group membership.
Update the plugin n check if you get any corrupt sid in the event viewer on server.

Thanks a lot for your help. I am able to configure the BRF+ configuration as per the document and it is successful.
But I am facing 2 issues:
1. I have made some changes in the decision table(after successful testing), these new changes are not reflecting in MSMP configuration even though I have regenerated the MSMP configuration. How to bring BRF+ changes in MSMP.
2. What is the best way to setup escape condition for no role owner and in SoD scenario? Is the method described in Notes# 1765630 is good or develop a custom rule in BRF. My requirement is whenever there is no role owner/SoD after manager approval it should directly go to Security stage.
Please let me know, what is the best way to deal with this situation?

The first field within the 2 from which I hope to derive the percentage field is an 'insert summary' field in Group Footer No.1. It is a DistinctCount summary of total number of PO's in my report ordered from a particular vendor. The 2nd field allows us to see how many of those PO's, per vendor, had backordered items on them. That field is derived from the following formula:
1. Group Header No. 1:

No, I have not deleted any security credentials or deleted my AWS account. However, I think this has got to do with new permission management in AWS. I created a new IAM users and generated Access Keys for the user. I have also given administrator access to the user.

lately our company has start to use service of the external warehouse. I was asked to organise the process of the inventory stock transfer between warehouse in system, but our external warehouse is 3rd party which is running another system.
so, is it possible to make somehow the stock transfer - e.g. reservations and confirmation of this reservation using EDI?

If you want best performance , expose RFC as Webservice in ECC. you will have two advantage
1. Response time will be very less (As communication is between source and ECC system only).
2. Logging of messages will be decreased.
If using of PI system is mandatory in your project , Create SOAP to RFC scenario and maintain Message prioritization in RWB . Message prioritization will help to process message quickly.

On "display" push button, I want to pass my multiple selected context records from first web dynpro application to second wda. I am calling the second wda using external window method .
I tried defining interface methods in 2nd wda and calling this method from first wda. But this did not work as it was on a separate instance.
I tried singleton and it too did not work. It seems each session has a diffente singleton instance.
I tried exit plugs but it seems that plugs can have only string as parameters and not an other data type.
Any ideas or solutions would be a great help...

Normally i follow the theory that the best things are normally all that you can implement after evaluate the situtation of your company... This situation contain factors or variables as:
1.- Technology: The kind of technology that your have in your hands (R3 or ECC, XI or PI 7.1 to up, etc...),
2.- Time: the time that you have, to implement the "best solution" for your case,
3.- Costs: maybe is not money directly when we implement internal projects or maybe yes, but this cost could represent the energies that you deliver with yourself with your "hard work", etc...
4.- Knowledge: maybe you have the technology, the time, the costs, the resources, etc... but if you know that you can learn how to do it, but the time is not going to let you learn, well, you will need to reevaluate "your best solution", because instead of help you the first best solution is going to complicate your project, the costs and time can increase, etc...
5.- Best practices: We have friends, manuals, forums, etc... where we can find best practices, as you are doing in this moment asking in this Community,
After those variables and reading your cuestion, i can share you may opinion, that i hope can help you:
1.- Measure it:
a) if you have the RFCs ready to be used it, and you dont have time, implement this solution and in the future migrate to better solutions, although you can sell this project requesting more time but with the condition to implement this new solution, so maybe you can change this variable and then implement web services and not rfcs,
b) if you have the RFCs, you have the knowledge to publish web services and you have time, implement this solution,
2.-Why?:
a) If we remember R3 helped us to implement interfaces with RFCs to PI,
b) The new version called ECC, supports now "ABAP Proxies", with the objective to implement a natural "SOA" with SAP PI as "standard",
c) So if you ask me, i prefer to implement a natural SOA considering web services, XML, WSDL, etc) than RFC, because here you are not using natural emisor to get a natural SOA and PI help us with their adapters to transform this RFC destination to one XML, etc...
3.- RECOMENDATION:
With the last subjective ideas, i recommend you follow the point 2, where is better use web services to implement a natural SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) than the RFC that is a technology that were used in the "R3" verions... Just evaluate the points that you need to be aware when you implement web services as timeouts, security, etc... just to solve it and then plan a "performance tunning", after this...
@note: read: "text", as one suggestion that i consider as subjective or that you can not agree with the idea and use other solution or proposal.

What I paid attention for is that, when I define &_Wf_Initiator_& as message receiver of a local WF it sends the message to the main WF initiator (e.g. USJohn), but when I want to print the value of the same &_Wf_Initiator_& inside of this message I got the different value (e.g. USAndrew). So how it can be that using the same variable we have two different values?
One more theoretical question, does main workflow container is completely encapsulated from a local workflow or main WF's container is kind of a global container and accessible from local WF without binding via local event binding?

I have a problem in belowed scenerio ;
1- I create a PO for a stock material with confirmation inbound delivery.
2- I create a inbound delivery.
3- I create a shipment document.
4- I create a shipment cost document.
5- Post good receipt from inbound delivery.
When i check account document of good receipt , i can not found shipment cost on stock account.
How can post shipment costs to stock account ?
