Please check whether the component which you are trying to do GI against production order is maintained with backflush or not. If backflush indicator is activated then system will do auto GI when we do confirmation, no need of manual GI. Also Check COGI for backlog records from Auto GI, If the material don't have enough stock then that will goes to COGI you can clear this COGI when you have enough stock, that time system will post the material. Please check it

SMP 3.0: Not able to upgrade to SMP 3.0 SP03 PL01 runtime from SMP 3.0 SP03
Hi Experts,
I am trying to upgrade SMP 3.0 SP 03 to SMP3.0 SP 03 PL01 patch. But when i launch the installer it says:
Installer could not check for administrator privileges.
You must have administrator privileges to install SAP Mobile Platform 3.0 SP03 PL1
I am not able to proceed ahead. What could be the reason for this pop-up?

P.S.: There is only one admin user on this machine and with the same user I have installed SMP 3.0 SP03 and mobile SDK already.
P.S.S.: I have tried the same after logging with .\smpServiceUser user also but same warning.

There are different options available at the item level to create the SC item but it totally depends on the requirement :
a) Free Text : When you have not standard material defined in the system you could used that option.
b) Internal Goods and Services : When you have standard master data maintained for these goods and services.
c) Catalog : When you have any calalog attached to the SC.
d) Limit Shopping Cart : I well explained in the thread : Requirement in Limit Shopping Cart
Its depends what type you are looking for because interface of the SC changes accordingly and then follow-on document will also changes respectively.

Tax code will not have any relevance in Import Purchase with CIN. You can create a new Zero tax code and make use of it in Import Purchase order if required.
In Import, You will use the Pricing conditions for Excise duty condition types like CVD, Cess, SEcess, BCD, Cess on BCD etc.. You can also use Pricing conditions for Insurance, Handling charges, PF charges and Freight charges if any..
