Hi,

 

the solution to your question is called "Tile Layout". This is just another display mode for any UI configuration.

The assignment blocks will appear as tabs - so like the 7.0 GUI Look and Feel and it can even be structured much easier. It is only customizing and no development is involved.

 

When you are in the WebUi start the configuration tool, but use the configuration of page. There is a little button called "Switch to Tile Layout". All available assignment blocks can now be arranged as tabs.

 

To enable this button you have to register your overview pages in customizing first:

SPRO -> CRM -> UI Framework Definition -> Register Overview Pages for Tile Layout

 

The Tile Layouts can have also different structures like multiple rows or column or you arrange in a T-Shape. Just play around. You can define your own tile layouts via IMG

SPRO -> CRM -> UI Framework Definition -> Fact Sheet -> Maintain Fact Sheet -> Layouts in this activity.

Hi Venkat,

Thanks for your reply, I did go through your post hence as per your reply I did find the ID field when creating the contact person in CRM Web Ui

I did select the Id field as per your post however the below fields function department and telephone are blank? screen shot attached.

Hence do contacts need to be created separately in BUP001 role as how we create prospects or customers in Bp roles and then these contacts are assigned to the prospects via the id tab?

This code is working in all Windows OS. So Win7 will not be the root cause for your issues. Without being more detailed I suggest you check your local settings as this seems like root cause.

What is the value of the critical retrofit column?

Can you also please drill down to the objects (double click on transport) to see if there are any valid objects for automatic import functionality of retrofit.

A ToC is used to perform this action, but only for conflict free objects.

This is then bypassing any ChaRM transport methodologies - technically and transport perspective is the same, but tracking and reporting updates might suffer and you need to open project status switches.

 

Solution is to create an own report to call the task on the task list via FM /TMWFLOW/TASK_START.

This report can be scheduled as any other report, executes imports via schedule manager and provides logging. No need to open status switches and thus jeopardizing security and traceability in ChaRM.

Hello,

Hope you have solved the issue already.. Just would like to know few things..

 

1) Whether the dump is occurring during the activation of the business function or after?  (activating Business Function is Basis job why your functional consultants are doing this?)

 

2) Whether the Business function activation job was completed successfully? If not, this could be the issue, even reactivating the business function wont solve the issue.

 

2) Only way I think is that you need a restart.. Reason being the activation job if it had a deadlock and failed you have inconsistency with the data, meaning the database might have been updated with activation changes but the buffer in SAP still is in same old status. In this case you need a restart where it could solve your issue.

 

Please let me know.

I don't use mountpoints, this system is going to be used as a sandbox.

I have created manually /sapmnt and /db2 directories (with permissions 775). Am I missing something ? Please help me...

(I'll provide the sapinst_dev.log later)

Hi Manas,

 

sorry, but your answer is a bit unclear. As the step, at which I am getting an error, visually looks

different (as for example the one, where it's asking for the kernel), I assume that it is asking for the installation destination of the db2 software, Nevertheless, I tried both with an empty location and with the location where I have the db2 installation (with permissions 777!) and in both cases it complains that it can't find the <path>/instance directory. If I would create an instance subdirectory, it would give this strane "Saturn" error. Please help me!!

Hi

 

Could you how you comparing the stock with (until you get variances)?

 

Possible causes of stock variance, such as :

- User enter the stock in wrong material code -->please fill Old Mat no in the Basic 1 view material

- Goods Movements trx are not key in to system completely.

- Stock types in SAP.

- Material Valuation in SAP. --> check if you also allowed non valuated stock.

Incomplete SO and Customer Master

Hi,

I have a scenario in which , in the sales order, field tax code (customized field under Header level of SO in Tab Additional Data A)gets picked from bill to party Customer Master (Tax Classification). Whenever the Tax Classification field of Bill to Party in Customer Master is blank , blank value would flow to SO and hence SO will be treated as incomplete . How can I make this Tax Classification field of Customer master mandatory ? So that value 0 /1 is maintained , such that the TAX field in SO would not be left blank .

Please check with sap notes:

 

1787984 - Current Supported Platforms of XL Reporter

 

For last question: Install MS office first and install XL reporter. If not while installing the XL reporter ADDON the system throws an error message. but still you can install XL reporter.

Indirect Activity Allocation will allocate Activity quantity and the value associated to it. For example Power Cost center you can plan Cost through KP06 and Quantities through KP26. But for production cost centers you do only kp26 i.e. quantity planning in required quantity. Please keep in mind while planning at Power CC you have to use Activity of Activity category '2' or '3' only depending upon your requirement, and for production CC Act type category'1'.

 

Run Indirect Activity allocation cycle. Then do the KSPI. for power cost center. It will give you desired results. i.e. If you check Cost center report now on the production cost centers Cost and activity quantity both are available. Do KSPI for production cost centers and enjoy.
