The message during closure of the project is a warning message and not an error so for now we are planning to just ignore it. More over no BADI/Exit was found during MIRO to automatically set this flag successfully. I would like to understand the importance of this flag during archiving process. I will mark this message as resolved for now.

I actually recommend that you get familiar with WM by reading the wonderful docu in help.sap.com
It is technically possible to do everything manually, and if you want do this, then you don't need to setup strategies, otherwise they may even have a negative impact on your manual performance and make the work even more difficult.
Honestly, either the warehouse manager has no basic skills how to run a warehouse physically, or it is the consultant who is not able to convince him how it could be done much better and where the benefits are.
This could easily be shown by setting up a pilot to demonstrate how WM cold be run almost automatic and on the other hand what one needs to enter with any single putaway and picking if all the features are not turned on.
I have never seen a warehouse manager who runs a warehouse without any strategy. I could even speak to a warehouse worker and ask him why he just stored this material in that space.
And he would tell me his story, and this is nothing else than a kind of strategy. And the task of the consultant is either to convince him about a better way of doing it, or to setup WM to accommodate the way how the warehouse is run today. Even random empty spaces are a strategy.

Sorry to have disappointed you, but the Inside Tracks and the DSAG events are more customer focused. You get more exposure to real problems with real customers than the new feature bandwagon at TechEds which I anyway inform myself about. The security related topics are now (IMO cleverly) packaged into the technology and operations streams in the DSAG framework as far as workgroups and customer feedback are concerned.
In shorts: I went to a few TechEds in the past for networking, the opportunity to go to the disco once a year again (made me feel 10 years younger each time) and curiosity. Now the Inside-track groups also offer disco, so that leaves only curiosity left for me and I am quite an old bullet already.. :-)
But India would interest me if anyone is interested for a TechEd visit / present something / add a week or so onto the end to see the country.
Via SCN I have many contacts in India and would like to see it for myself.
ps: I would also like to moderate the traffic in Dehli at major intersections for a day or two if any gurus out there have government contacts to organize that or access to the SAP systems they use to create a user ID for me there... :-)

New Baby to SAP but want to make as full time career .... From where to start?

I have just joined the SAP community here. First of all i would like to introduce myself. I live in UK and will be my second home soon. I have a query regarding joining SAP since long. And finally i have decided to learn SAP no matter what and will gradually get there and make onlly option for my career. My background is that i have done BBA from India as well as MSC Business magt from the liverpool hope uni. And after graduation i have worked as a production opertor, than sales man and now work as a customer service (Team member) in one of the fast food chain. But i really want to chage my career and would fight for it.
I have done research about what module should select and do certification in it. Here is my choice of interest in 3 modules which are SAP FICO, or SAP SD or MM. Please someone experience i need your genuine opinion and i can head start in one of the module asap and hopefull i will reach at least at my desire destinaton on professional world !!!

I am a little bit confused about these Heidi comments and BIF. I have a cat called Heidi, but cannot recall that she ever had anything to do with SCN other than the "Pets Pets" thread and the problems I had with mongoose in my roof which had attacked her.
Why are people asking me to write a blog about Heidi? I checked the BIF search and there is at least one other person with a cat called Heidi. Perhaps you have mistaken me? I never wrote a BIF either.
(Anyway... hell for leather I am keeping Heidi well clear of the internet in the fear that she might write a blog about me :-) )

Sorry I do not really understand what you want. If you don't process the PCN then you just create a mess in your warehouse and within a few days you will not be able to do anything normal, you will just jump from one error fixing to the next.
Example: you post from quality to unrestricted in MM. If you do not process the PCN, then you still have quality stock in WM along with negative quality stock and positive unrestricted stock in an interim storage type. Does that sound healthy?
Processing can be setup to run automatically with a batch job.
But this is usually a phase 2 of project, after anybody is clear with the processes and knows what steps has to be taken. Then you can sit together and define which steps could be executed in batch. But the people have to be ready to monitor all the batch runs, must be able to perform an activity manually in case the batch run failed.

I am able to solve this requirement without using ccBPM and making any condition entry at Interface Determination.
I have used two concepts:
1. Used Extended Receiver Determination for Synchronous Interfaces
SAP NetWeaver Process Integration: Enhanced Receiver Determination for Synchronous Scenarios
2. Populating Context Object at Mapping Level (So I am using as Flag, either 1 (RFC1) or 0 (RFC2))
XI/PI: Extended Receiver Determination with Conditional Context Object interface Determination
Now, I have maintained 170 different Company Codes in FixValue table within the mapping.

Help - SAP Web IDE error with Extension projects
I recently upgraded to the new SAP Web IDE 1.4.2. When I launch the browser and click on Extension project I get the following error:
2:24:50 PM (git) Status request failed Request failed: Bad Request URI: /orion/s2s/gitapi/status/file/s0012240728trial$S0012240728-OrionContent/C:%5CUsers%5CSarah%20Lottman_2%5Cgit/
I've tried everything but cannot get an extension project to work. Any ideas? I've deleted the optional Git Settings from the Web IDE tool but the error persists.
I can develop new applications, but all extension projects give me the error: "Creating the extension project failed"

Double Incoming Order Qty in Allocations
Hello Experts,
I have a query in Double Incoming Order Qty in GATP Allocations.
Ex:
When we navigate to /sapapo/ac42 and double click on the Order Qty.
I could see that for few Incoming order Qty there are duplicates which are getting popped up.
Because of which Incoming Order Qty is showing double of it's original value.
I tried to run Product Allocation Assignment check & update jobs as well but unfortunately this is not helping in fixing this scenario.
Can you please share your thoughts on this.

Yes. If the admin increases the online process time limit, it's the same.
Actually, I never experienced any issues with that.
You may have system load troubles if you use parallel processing (using online processes); this can really bring the system down.
But a runtime extension for a single process? Not really.
