I have a problem to push notification to SMP registered application. The application is registered. Push settings are setup. APNS parameters as <d:ApnsPushEnable> and <d:ApnsDeviceToken> are set.
My call is a POST to push URL with X-SMP-APNS-ALERT-LOC-KEY & X-SMP-APNS-ALERT-LOC-ARGS as headers and I am receiving 403 Forbidden:
Is that means that my APNS certificate is invalid? I will appreciate every answer, advice, recommendation.

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately, HCI does not support R/3 4.7 and needs a minimum of ECC 6.0 as per the config guide.
If this limitation can be worked around, please do let me know.

Not really a solution for a large, existing app, but ...
at a previous work place, we had a class header for each object. Like an event/function header, but added to the Instance Variables section of an object with the object name and brief description. Therefore each object had it's own name as a string inside of it, which would show up in a search.
I found this incredibly useful, and not only for searching for object references. Would definitely recommend this approach for a new application.
That probably won't help in your situation though, for that I agree with the other suggestions about using the object browser as a good way to find an object.

I agree with Rick's suggestion. I notification for all pending workitems instead of flooding user inbox with emails for each pending workitem.
There are some known performance issues with Extended notification. Refer to following notes:

There are some manual steps like maintaining the system specific URL's . you can use transaction SWNADMIN

I have a scenario with regards to material availability date from SD to MM scenerio.
I have a sales order with ordering item require to source from external vendor, hence, when I saved the sales order, scheduling line generated and a PR is generated for this item to source from vendor.
I know the material availability date is derived from the following formula:
First date - Transit time = Goods Issue date
Goods Issue date - Loading time = Loading date
Loading date - Pick/pack processing time = Material Availability date.
Question:
However, does this material availability related to the MM's availability date calculation because it is an external purchasing, that means the available of the material is closely link to MM.
PO processing time + Planned Delivery Time (ext vendor leadtime) + GR processing time = Material Available Time (i.e. material receipt date/requirement date in MD04)
I am confused about the integration part this on this object as both looks similar to me. Maybe I missed out something.

I am not too sure how this section of security setup of the admin role will help us solve this issue as we already did this as part of basic setup.
The users who were creating tiles experiencing this issue, were able to do this previously until this error message appeared.
To narrow this down I have identified x2 users where the authorisations are exactly the same. I can create tiles with the same authorisations but my other colleague cannot which leads me to believe this is a user specific issue.
Given this scenario I would conclude that the PAGE_BUILDER_CUST is running correctly and our ADMIN roles are setup correctly as they have all the objects mentioned in the SAP documentation.

I'm relatively new to MDG and was just wondering if this scenario is possible. So here it goes...
In our client, Requestors typically would not know the different SAP fields in a master data. For example when raising a Cost Centre, perhaps they would only be aware of the Description and Company Code fields and would not bother looking into other fields (e.g. Cost Centre Category, Person Responsible etc.)
My question is, would it be possible for these requestors to submit this change request even if the data is incomplete? The approver of this change request can now either populate the rest of the technical fields and submits this for further processing before it gets replicated into ECC.

Our finance team is now saying that in the "chart of accounts" file we should report the name of SAT grouping code as description instead of the account name. Had any of you have this kind of request? This really makes no sense to me

Guys, found out that we had some missing translations to be imported in the backend. We did that and I was able to translate the texts from English to Spanish.
Now I am in the next roadblock. I need to assign this to a transport request.
The SAP documentation mentions "You can transport text table entries in Customizing for SAP Fiori launchpad in different languages using transaction CUS_ORIGLANG".
When I go to CUS_ORIGLANG, for table WDY_CONF_USERT2, I am not able to find SWDP_CONFIGURATION package with EN.
How do I transport the language translations ?

Was wondering what the memory_size is in sys.m_expensive_statements.
I'm see some memory values like: 337,340,294,412. Is that terabytes, but that seems too large.

One thing I didn't make clear in my original post was that for a period of time all our Fiori users didn't have problems creating tiles in catalogs... and then some of them experienced this issue. So I'm still investigating if a system change has occurred or something is not being cleared causing this issue.
The work around to this issue is for us to create fresh users. We would then copy in all roles and authorisations and our users would use these logons to complete the creation of tiles in catalogs.
If we copied the users the problem would carry over.
I hope the above helps anyone who's experiencing this.
A new manual vendor evaluation criteria is just customizing and does not need any extra ABAP.

Not very typical thread but would be very interesting to hear community opinion on this.
So, what's your feelings about those arguments? Maybe you have something to add?
Below are our main reasons we are not moving to SAPUI5:
- Proprietary Framework, no thanks - we love industry standards and the problem is SAPUI5 will simply never be one. Alternate mainstream frameworks such as AngularJS, Ember or Knockout have huge communities behind them. Innovation is rampant at the UX space and SAPUI5 with its proprietary licensing, small community and SAP quirks will always be playing catch-up. Take a quick look at the number of contributors/commits on GitHub between OPENUI5 and other JavaScript frameworks and you will quickly see a vast gap.
- SAP backend upgrade?– how can we ask our customers to perform an expensive SAP upgrade or to install the Gateway so we can serve up some pretty html? Our strategy is to take advantage of the tens of thousands remote enabled functions SAP exposes which allows us to integrate with SAP instantly from version 4.0b onwards.
- Browser Support– nothing gets an end user more disappointed when we can’t support their browser or device of choice. We have invested a huge amount of time being compatible with as many types of mobiles/tablets/browsers as possible because this is important for our customer’s needs. We simply would be too restricted using SAPUI5 and fail to deliver our true ‘bring your own device’ offering.
- Front end developers don’t care– the best front-end UX developers are worth their weight in gold, they can take something complicated and make it simple and intuitive for the end user. That is the end goal. Our experience has shown the best front-end developers are not from an ABAP background and generally know little or nothing about SAP. These people we hire have never heard of or care little for SAPUI5. What are we going to achieve investing in them learning this framework?
A very simple thing to check before applying some of the good suggestions above is make sure your setup table is populated (because this is an LO extractor). If you have questions on that - many posts of LO data extraction.
If you don't have setup table populated and you try to run RSA3 (Full update mode) - then of course you will not get any data.
Can you clarify whether you are getting any data at all - or is it just your enhancement fields not being populated when you test in RSA3....?
So if they access the site, are they taken to some sort of buffer screen that forces them to register or login?
Also regarding authentication, I only able to access the portal while on the SAP corporate network. Will this change once I assign a custom domain?
As Shrikant suggested, you can create another cell with an IF formula, so that if Q2 is blank, the value is replaced with whatever value you want.
Then refer to this new cell in your EPMOlapMember formula instead.
