Re: XSODATA: 'create using' procedure leads to authorization error

0

Okay, works now for my own userID.

What I did is to log in with another userID (you cannot alter privileges for yourself):

Go to Security Administration (.../sap/hana/xs/ide/security ).

Go to my userID (Users/<UserID>)

Go to Object Privileges

Select ALL

Save

I cannot imagine this is the regular way of being authorized for executing a procedure, but hey....it works for me and maybe it helps someone else.

Bert

    When you upgrade the CR Server you will need to have Server & Tomcat running.  The install will ask you to log into the CMS and do the upgrade automatically.  The patch will bring down the services and then bring them back-up after properly upgraded.

Hi Badri,

I had the same problem last week (AO 1.4.9...).

I got it solved, by activating the multiprovider.

While I tried to use the query (without AO), there was no error with the queriy. I was wondering, that the query worked without any problems, but AO had an problem with the multiprovider.

maybe it solves also your problem. Good luck!

Re: Client Tools

     Installing the client tool on the server is useful when troubleshooting Crystal Reports.  It is optional to install the clients tools.  SAP does recommend NOT installing any client tools on the server for performance reason and any conflicts of DLL / drivers.

Hello Madhu,

Many thanks. I have GRAC plug-ins installed because of this task-specific customizing for GRC-AC was not available. followed the steps mentioned in the document and it worked.

I am now able to see the approver request in my inbox. However now there is a new error "Stage configuration not defined for path stage type 'CL_GRAC_ACCESS_REQUEST_WF' version '000012'".

Please suggest.

Thanks,

Nitin Sherry

#UNAVAILABLE

Recently we have implemented BOBJ 4.1 SP 5 Patch 2. Migrate reports from 3.1 to 4.1. Some reports we found the issue when the existing report is converted using BICS some objects are shown as #UNAVAILABLE. Its just a formatted value for a key figure.  Any idea to fix this issue.

Re: compare changes of sales forecast VS production forecast

Hi Mukesh,

i agree with your idea, how did you consider:

1) stock - the sales should be checked VS production + stock.

2) time - at which frequency do you update the sales forecast VS actual sales, production forecast VS actual production, and stock at the time of planning the production forecast VS current stock?

is it happening to all the users or particular user? is service activated? Are you using WDA OR WDJ? Please can you share more information ie release? did you activate service or right role is used etc?

Crystal Reports and Export MAPI over HTTP?

0

Does anyone know if the new versions of Crystal Reports (Above 11.5) work with exporting reports as MAPI over HTTP? I have looked everywhere but cannot find an answer to this.
We have a customer that needs to export reports from his system as email with his use of Exchange 2013 on the Cloud.

I hope I am stating this correctly as I am cloud knowledge deficient.

Re: Issue in Report - RPRCCC00

Hi Monica,

I have implemented the OSS note 1712292 and maintained the constant NORND. Using this constant the amount in local currency from the expense report will be equal with the amount in local currency sent by the credit card company, regardless of the exchange rate. Basically, the constant NORDN eliminates all the exchange rate issues (ex. differences due to the fact that the credit card companies use an exchange rate with seven decimals while in SAP we can use five decimals only, itemization rounding issues, etc.).

You can maintain this for Indonesia trip provision variant to see how this works.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Vasilica

Re: B2B Integration- EDISeparator receiver channel error

No, the scenario was failing before the SP4 upgrade.  I thought perhaps the SP4 upgrade would fix the matter, but it did not.

File Adapter Type, Receiver, FTP transport protocol, File message protocol, Central Adapter Engine, FTP server credentials are fine, processing file type is binary, no advanced options.  Under Module tab, I have localejbs/X12ConverterModule with key 0, then CallSAPAdapter with key 1.  Both are Local Enterprise Beans.

B2B Components:

PIB2BAS2 = 1.0.4.5

PIB2BOFTP = 1.0.4.2

PIB2BPGP = 1.0.4.0

PIB2BSFTP = 1.0.4.6

PIB2BTOOLKIT = 1.0.4.13

BIB2BX400 = 1.0.4.1

This point is very important, it seems to me: if I leave out the X12ConverterModule in my processing sequence on the the Module tab of my receiver channel in my Integration Scenario, the whole process works flawlessly, from end to end.  I wind up with an unconverted XML file on the remote FTP server.  As soon as I put localejbs/X12ConverterModule back in, I get the Java error with NoSuchFieldError, NOT_SOLICITED, right after the processing sequence calls the module.  Furthermore, again, the X12 converter works fine in the B2B cockpit.

So...to sum up.  The converter works fine manually, and my scenario works fine without it.  Only when I use the converter in my scenario do I get the error.

Unable to access SBO-COMMON - SAP onDemand environment - IIS

Dear experts,

I'm trying to connect to Company object in a SAP onDemand environment by a web-service and i'm getting the error: -111 - Unable to access SBO-COMMON database.

If i try to connect on debug mode on Visual Studio, then works perfectly. The error only occurs on the IIS web-service.

The properties that i'm passing to connect are:

company.CompanyDB = "CompanyDB";

company.UserName = @"Domain\username";

company.Password = "pass1234";

company.Server = "DB";

company.DbServerType = BoDataServerTypes.dst_MSSQL2012;

company.LicenseServer = "server:30000";

company.UseTrusted = true;

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad english.

Best regards,

Danilo
