in most cases the use of the "expert rules" should be independent of "spec type". The Rule set more or less reads only the data on compoment level etc. to derive new data; the "spec type" is no "helpful2 information for that. E.g. the "Easy Expert rules" should workas well independent of "spec type"

You will finde lot of references regarding teh use of the existing APis/BAPIs in EHS. You should never ever do a direct update on EH&S tables without using the APIs/BAPis.
You must check carefully the topic of "where used" topic to make sure that any spec "a" is really "swapped" to spec "B" in any relevant data record.

Yes, it worked but differently. Here is the steps I did on SMP side
1) Created a new security profile with HTTP/HTTPS authentication provider pointing to backend GW url
2) Changed SSO mechanism to Basic ( when I tried with SSO2, it didn't worked. See more noted below)
When I launched the application, SMP registration page didn't accept SMP credential rather it accepted BACKEDN GW credentials. And even inside the app where I am making actual OData calls, it didn't display login page to enter backend GW credential, it directly pulls the data from backend.
If I do SSO mechanism as SSO2 then I am not getting login page and even data is not getting pulled from backend system.
What I want is, SMP registration should accept SMP credentials and then when I make the Data call, I should get the login prompt to enter GW credentials. Please let me know if it's possible.

Just a clarification.
My need is not to remove the object from the InfoCube but only exclude it from the keys.
In the example below I want to continue to keep the InfoObject 0BILL_DATE. just do not be part of the key of the InfoCube. I don't want to remove the InfoObject itself.

Errors when Starting Agents in PCo 15.0 SP3
We are in the process of upgrading to PCo 15.0 and are getting the following error when starting an agent. We used the same configuration and setup using PCo 2.3 with no issue but we are having issues with PCo 15.0 SP3. This issue is happening on both DA and HDA agents. Has anyone see this before:
1910 Manufacturing Fault: REASON = FileNotFoundException

Hi Sai,
Yes , you can run payroll between the Pay Period. you can use T-code : PUOC_40 or PC00_M40_CALC.
If you are using PC00_M40_CALC , then make sure the necessary payment amount should be there under IT0267 and also provide the reason for offcycle and date.

To me its a bug in SAP, in our organization we have so many people who have multiple payment methods. If you select a row which needs to replace it will show up all the payments which is being made to checks and Bank transfer. See the screenshot below for replace payment who have both Bank Deposit and Check

Yes based on forecast profile, the forecast key figure is populated.
But I request you please elaborate more on your advice.
Steps that I do
1. Log in to the planning book,load the selection and run the Univariate forecast. Then choose
the selection profile. you get the result as forecast data in table format.
2. Click the Table <--> Graphic option to get the data in graphical display. Here you see the data
in graphical mode and below the graph you see all the key figures that contains the data.It
also includes the forecast key figure KF1. This key figure changes if I re-run the univariate
forecast with different forecast profile (as the different forecast profile contains different
forecast key figure)
3. when I click on 'Switch Graphic Settings',we get a box pop up on the right hand side scroll down till 'series' option. expand 'Series' and you will see all the key figures containing the data like history,corrected forecast and the forecast key figure.This forecast key figure do not change in spite of the fact that different forecast profiles populates different forecast ket figure.
