Just a thought - as by design CDS transforms HDBDD entity columns into upper case we then don't really care what mix of case is used in the HDBDD, provided reference to types by columns within the HDBDD matches, as all external references to columns, such as within UI5 view elements, will refer to the generated catalog version (uppercase)? 

 

 

Would "best practice" may be to use uppercase in the HDBDD to align with catalog casing if we want to be pedantic?  I guess what Im trying to say is that within HDBDD use of camel case for column naming is in practice irrelevant as it's not honoured during catalog creation, and I'm not sure of using camel case for documentation/readability value? 

 

 

You have any in-house practice you an recommend, and confirm there are no external artefacts (or other) to the HDBDD specification that refer to and are sensitive to the internal HDBDD entity column typing?

"customer is free to expect"....no they actually are not if they are educated correctly and their correct expectations set. That is my point. "Previously using forms with certain features" in no way implies that moving to a whole DIFFERENT form UI will carry over all of those features nor that they might gain features not previously available.

 

That said, some of the things you listed CAN be done in FPM. You should familiarize yourself with the editor (FLUID) and setting parameter values. However, you will still not have the "free form" layout ability that Adobe forms allow you.

 

This is where knowing WHERE and HOW your forms will be used will help determine which UI model to go with.

Hi,

 

Do anyone know what the equivalent is of ";o=ERP_ALIAS" in the sapui5 oDataModel class when defining a model calling the SAP NetWeaver GW?  I have tried adding it to the path and aggregate bindings but that does not work at all.

I have browsed all data it is browsing correctly when I click on schedule it is saying as

" There is no scheduled List of Values instance. This list of values executes on demand. "

 

And some time it is failing am I doing anything wrong?

Hi...

 

You create semi-finished goods per each process.

Finished goods  is composed of semi-finished goods of each process.

When process A goes to process for further processing,  you put

semi-finished goods which is produced through process A into production order
with semi-finished goods of process B.

Profit center of A semi-finished goods is different from
profit center of B semi-finished goods.

You set transfer price between A semi-finished goods and
B semi-finished goods to check profitability in each of the Process.

hi,

 

planning departman have to check undelivered PO's after that you can run updated MRP Area .

 

1- you can delete or quantity fulfilled in pr

2-ME5A is filtered status 'N,A' , this documents are not related with po. After that, you have to check undelivered po's. You can try ME2N to calculate of po quantity - migo quantity to tick last delivery.

 

It is done with MEMASSPO tcode.

Hi,

Earlier the error that you were getting was due to time limit exceed. SO that will be fixed when you run it in background.

 

Now the error that you are getting while running in background is due to some lock object in some transports so you need to get the list of the transports and release them.

 

To get the list while running in background please check logs or just execute this step in dialog. Once you run in dialog you will get the list in the screen. Release all the transports and repeat import in background.

 

To check the log in saint use these option.

 

 

If you want to get the list in dialog.

 

Select the start option such that only 2 phase runs in dialog.

Hi I am trying to poluate Cascading prompts into Crystal reports i have created  everything in  Business view manager I am unable to see anything in crystal report (Empty text box). So i have gone to BVM try to schedule it it says

Hello

 

( I am aware of that the standard SAP is giving an option of Persenalization to the users on ALV grid/table/dashboard settings, of WDA, but in my case for some reason we don't want to opt that choice)

 

My requirement is to hide some coluns/fields of ALV dashboard of a Standard SAP's (WDA/WDC) app , say, the Standard SAP is displaying 10 coumns, but we need only 8, hence i need to hide the unwanted 2 columns programitically with my custom code

 

After debugging i realized that the complete ALV is coming/building dynamically on run time.

 

Pls. let me know how can i hide the stndard SAP delivering ALV's column on dashboard

Hello Tobias,

 

Have you checked SAP note 1110822 (Workload collector: Reducing the size of aggregates)?

 

You can use the report SWNC_COLLECTOR_COMPRESSION from the note and select the checkboxes for:

 

  [VC] WEB server

         Technical name    Description in ST03N

         ACCOUNT, MANDT    Account, client

         HOST, PORT        Host name, port

         DESTINATION, PATH (*)Destination, Path/URL

         ENTRY_ID (*)      Report name, transaction name or name of the

         background job

 

In addition, you should also re-aggregate the data that already exists in the database for your selected profile(s). To do this select the option "Schedule background program" (at the bottom) when running the report. Then the additional report SWNC_COLLECTOR_RECOMPRESS is scheduled to run once in the background.

Just to avoid confusion: login/disable_multi_gui_login is only valid for SAPGUI for Windows.

It does not apply for Web Dynpro ABAP or other web-related technologies.

Are you getting any kind of short dump?

This probably is some report started by the job SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR.

This job start too many reports as per TCOLL table.

 

If you go to ST03

Collector and Performance DB

Performance Monitor Collector

Log

 

you do find the execution times of these reports. Try to pinpoint what is the report responsible by this long executions (maybe the long time report).

I do not think that the note 1578639 will help in this first moment if you are not getting the short dump. For sure that reduce the size of aggregation could help to reduce the amount of data. see also 1110822.

 

Anyway, after pinpoint the responsible report you can find further details (corrections) about this report.

 

I am not sure what is your BASIS release, but you also can check the content of TCOLL table in order to see if only the correct reports are scheduled. See for example note 966309.

Check also if all reports are with the correct times in TCOLL.

Nothing happens. You can run your program normally. Variables sy-repid and sy-cprog will have your program actual name, not what you defined after statement program/report. Useless statement IMO.

Can you confirm that your EM is running correctly?

 

Do you have another Java system you have ran this against?
