Hi Joel,
Please study the IDocs WP_PLU or WBBDLD for article master outbound using transaction code WE60. This will give you an idea about the fields covered in standard IDoc segments. All fields which are not covered in standard IDoc, can be populated in custom segment. There are various threads available on custom segments and then populate them using enhancement.
Do you use any middleware in the interface? If yes, then the IDoc from SAP can be sent this middleware (example SAP PI) which will convert this IDoc data in required XML format. If there is no middleware, then you need to take technical help for a custom program to produce the XML file from the IDoc or the text file generated by IDoc (this will happen if you use File port in the partner profile where you specify server directly where you want to write IDoc).
Layout module interface can also be maintained using a custom program or middleware. A custom ABAp program is required which will read layout data to and fro and generate output as per both integrated system. You have to use standard BAPIs to update and fetch the layout data.
I am not very sure, but have a look on SAP's new Enterprise services interface which might be helpful to avoid IDocs. I don't know why I am not able to insert the link here, when I attached, It came on top. Please use this link to have an idea about Enterprise Services.
Sorry, I am not aware about spaceman workflow, so you will have to wait for experts to revert on this.

It is very easy one. You can ask Functional / Abaper how to setup the field as mandatory when saving a variant. Assign this variant as a default variant to the T-code. So whenever open the T-code the variant (py area is mandatory field) will auto called. I suggest that it should create new T-code and assign default variant to the new T-code. Abaper should now know to to do, it is such a simple request.

If you put "DET_LEVEL ( Material_No ) = 0 AND DET_Level ( Location ) = 0" in one line in your macro, try separating it into 2 lines "DET_LEVEL ( Material_No ) = 0 AND" and "DET_Level ( Location ) = 0"

May I know what is the MR21 (change moving average price) for retail?
I'm trying to change the moving average price for some articles that uses SAP for retail but when I tried with MR21, the change is seen in the table MBEW (article valuation) but when I check in MM42 the moving average price is still the same. However, when I check using MM03 for accounting view, the change is reflected. May I know if retail has a different tcode to make the changes to the moving average price? or could it be that I am changing it on the wrong article (eg. generic instead of the variant)?

I now see what you mean. I was able to replicate your issue by modifying the ColoredBox sample to add a new borderColor property to the APS form (as shown below), after which the submit on enter event handler no longer seems to be triggered for some reason. Perhaps there's a jQuery nuance that we have missed. I agree that you should not need a submit button on the APS.
I'll let you know if I find anything. Please post back if you do too.

SAP HANA system was right in asking for the LOGS_ABC and LOGS_XYZ files.
I would recommend you to read SAP HANA Backup/Recovery Overview document.
Slides 9 will explain you a savepoint is created when a backup is triggered, which means backup only has content before that save point.
Slide 23 explains the different recovery scenarios. In user case I believe you were trying for option A which means you will need backup + all log files generated after this backup is triggered + entries that are available in the log area.

Deploy Fiori from WebIDED to HCP - not showing data
Hi,
I tried to deploy my Fiori app which is running properly with Mock data inside WebIDE. I deplyed it in my HCP trial account.
Although its deplyed properly and shows can be opened from my HCP, I am not able to see any of my mock data in the App. Its only the view which is showing up.
Any clue why?
