Hi All,

 

Currently i am working with SAP Consulting Firm as Bid Manager, Over all I have 5 years of Experience all in to (SAP) Pre-Sales and Bid Management and worked for all Major Geographies (North America , APAC , EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa)  and have worked for customers in E&U, Automotive and Manufacturing also worked extensively on Government Space and now i am planning to start my next phase of career in SAP Delivery and willing to opt for SAP SD Module and mover towards SAP CRM. (I am Currently using SAP CRM for tracking and Managing our Sales activities as well)

 

I am Planning to complete my certification form a very reputed SAP Partner.

 

Please suggest me opportunities and Challenges i can have in this transition

Hi Experts,

 

We have created new item like Repair and Maintenaince for overhead calculation. we do not have raw material or percentage so we did not maintained this in costing sheet. Now we creaeted activity type R&M (repairs and Maintenance) in KL01. Posted rate in KP26. Did MFBF where we can see R&M (repair and Maintenance). But when i check KKF6N, cost tab, i do not found any posting of R&M. while labour and auxilliary are there.

 

Is there any thing i have missed out in config. Please guide.

The warning messages are OK, no issue there.

 

Please try with a new Maintenance Optimizer transaction. Using the old one will result in the same error.

Hi,

 

the MTR values should be used as defaults, but can be overwritten in the concrete multi-resource. Your planning scenario should pick-up those resource based values.

Hi Adnan,

 

As per my understanding, you can put deletion indicator to DIR but cannot be removed permanently from system, If your requirement is not to view the DIR from CV03N then you cannot do that.

Hi,

are you taking for condition exclusion or listing/exclusion.

 

if you are doing  listing/exclusion then means you have if you have maintained some records in the listing means only that record will pick up at the time of SO . or In exclusion if you maintain the record then except this records will take in PO.

 

SPRO-->IMG-->Material management-->Purchasing-->Conditions-->Define Condition Exclusion.

 

This for exclusion exclude condition records.

Please check with your basis team if your PI SP is affected by this bug 1990538 - IDoc_AAE Receiver Adapter fails with HIERARCHY_REQUEST_ERR when modifying the IDoc control record

Please change below settings and then try.

Administration > System Initialization > Document Settings > Per Document Tab > Sales Order

 

Untick "Activate Automatic Availability Check". I mean make this check inactive.

Yes, you will be able to restore to any point in time on DAY-2 (provided this point in time is after the end of DUMP DATABASE on DAY-2) and DAY-3 (till point in time when TX dump was taken) .

The TX log dump taken on DAY-1 is not needed in this scenario.
Before you throw it away , makre sure it is really useless and or not needed anymore (e.g. because you already deleted the DB DUMP that was taken before) 

It is always a good idea to perform a series of test restores on a repeat basis for business critical databases - so you know that you are really able to restore what you need to .

"Should I upgrade 13.0.5 to 13.0.13" – I asked because I was not sure if CMYK was a reason and if upgrading to 13.0.13 was good decision.

 

Meanwhile, I did some test with CMYK images and I can confirm that CMYK is not a reason of my problem.

 

When I tried export my report with 1000 images (about 800k/ image) I got the mentioned error, but when I tried export report with 700 images the export was created with no error. However, after second attempt I got “out of memory” error. After third attempt I got “invalid pointer” error.

Moreover, I discovered that memory usage is still growing.

It looks like memory leak problem.

 

In list of fixed issues for 13.0.13 is information about fixing a memory leak during export to PDF so that’s why I tried 13.0.13.

Now, I’m downloading 13.0.14 and I’m going to test it out.

 

“The system cannot find the path specified.” – this error is very strange because I did not any change in my source.

The same code on 13.0.5 is working (I don’t have this error) and for small reports I can do export to PDF file.

After upgrading, I tested the same report with the same pdf target path and as the same user.

As fresh update:

 

On 13.0.14 export to pdf works correctly up to 2550 images.

At 2600 I have “The system cannot find the path specified” error but I did simple calculation and: 2550 (number of images) x 0.8 (MB per image) = 2040 MB very close 2GB.

It seems to be memory limitation.

 

Good news: memory level is stable there is no memory leak as previous.

IW45 is for individual confirmation. If you have a requirement of mass cancellation Tcode IW47 will be convenient.

 

Select operations to be cancelled confirmations, then in the Menubar go to Completion confirmation > Mass cancellation

Hi all,

 

We are currently debating on following Queries and looking for answers.

 

1. Is it possible to create same BW Hierarchy in HANA using HANA studio and consume in HANA live Content? (as an Example Profit and loss hierarchy)
   
   
   
2. What is the best approach for the reporting? Should we go with BW Queries for the reporting or is it merely HANA Live Reporting? (We are planning to implement HANA without using SAP BW for reporting and is this the recommended approach?)

 

   3.  If new customers are planning to implement S4HANA, what should we suggest for them for reporting? Should suggest them to install SAP BW or HANA Live Or Both?
