Hi Roman,

FYI. I read system copy guide before and I read installation guide of SWPM1.0.

Also, I install SAP HA several times but I do not install CI in the cluster node before.

Anyway, I still don't know what's going on with the profile parameters.

Re: Activating SAP Default indexes

Hi Zerandib,

If in Se11, the index name is active , could you check in Db02 -> Missing Indexes whether there is any entry. From there as well you can perform "Create in DB" index creation steps.

Hope this helps.

Hi Philip,

Have you checked whether /usr/sap/SID/DVEB*/exe folder exists ??

If not please create it and manually copy the kernel files into this folder.

Additionally check in start profile whether there is a step for sapcpe ?

Hope this helps.

Re: Transport request error

Hi ,

Looks like Smartform ZJYOTI_SALEORDR_VER2 was directly modified in Production.

You may check the difference in the production and development version. In case there is no difference,

while importing you may select the option "Overwrite originals". The transport will move trough successfully.

Hope this helps.

Deepak Kori

I moved all the sub-items of PROJECT folder (from 7 to 11 as shown in the JPEG pic) into INACTIVE folder (like 3 in it), then it solved my requirement (i mean, i didn't deleted the PROJECT folder)

Now i can't see standard SAP's PROJECT button on toolbar and i am seeing my own PROJECT button, which navigates directly TASKS page

Thank you for your help

Need to create a new calculation type or base type?

0
0

Hi there,

I have a new requirement as below ,and I don't know how to satisfy:

We had a new surchage which is currency surchage ZS18, it is regarded as revenue account, it is used for charge our customer due to exchange fluctuation loss, and we had another surchage which is packing surchage ZS10, and it should calculate based on net price plus currecy surchage, let's say net price is 100, currency surchage is 10, then packing surchage rate is 10%, so totally taxable price should be (100+10)*10%=11, as per SAP standard, surchage is calculated based on net price normally, so how can I satisfy above reqirement? Do I need to create a new calculation type or based type? If so, what abap code would that be?

Hi,

Please provide us with the screenshot or path where you are set up bank account to appear automatically.

Bank G\L Account defaults are defined at different places.

Please check the G\L Account Determination under the Administration > Setup > Financials > different tabs.

With more details in the screenshot from your side, we would be better able to assist you.

HANA Studio backup of remote HANA DB in HANACloud

backuperror.PNG

Hi,

Now I am using HANA studio to connect to my HANA Cloud instance on neo.ondemand.com using Database Tunnel. Then I am able to access tables and table contents.

Unfortunately, I can't run the BackUp functionality of HANA Studio. The error message is shown on the image above.

Is it a limitation of the database tunnel or due to wrong configuration?

Thanks in advance.

TEXTENV_KEY_INVALID on SAP GUI logon at import phase 24

0
0

Dear all,

I have succesfully done the OS migration for all systems in the SAP landscape (DEV, QUA and PROD). Source system is HP-UX 11.31 , Oracle
11.2.0.3 and ECC 6.0. Target system is RedHat 6.4 , Oracle 11.2.0.3 and ECC 6.0.

For the first migration test I used the SWPM tool version SP02_1.

Due to some additional developments needed for the ongoing projects, I need to re-import the  DEV and QUA systems to include the latest SAP customizations.

I did export of DEV system and deleted the file system data
in the target for DEV :

  - /oracle/DEV/sapdata1-6

  - /oracle/DEV/mirrlogA,B

- /oracle/DEV/origlogA,B

- /oracle/DEV/saparch

And then started the import.

On the phase 24 Check DDIC password I've got the information message :

" Test logon to SAP system DEV failed.

SOLUTION: Make sure that the system is started, that the
user DDIC exists and that the password of user DDIC is correct.”

For the second migration test, now I used the SWPM tool version SP03_1.

I tried the SAP GUI and get the message “ Invalld key when accessing SAP text environment table TCP0C.”

In the dev_w* logs also there are error messages TEXTENV_KEY_INVALID  and A Invalld key when accessing SAP text environment table TCP0C

From the SAP note 375182 even it’s not appropriate for my case I tried :

  1. Stop SAP
    instance
  2. Edit the
instance profile in /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/profile by adding the following
    two lines:

       a) abap/set_text_env_at_new_mode = 0

       b) install/collate/active = 0

3. startsap

The error messages still appeared.

Do you know how to solve the error and to finish the installation on taget for import.

I have already prepared all LINUX locales for the previos OS migration ana I don't know what should be the problem now because the TCP0C missing entries in the first migration test I solved after starting the instance . Now I cannot connect with SAP GUI due to this error message.

Thank you in advance.

Best regards,

Ruzica

Hi Balajee,

First go to transaction MM02 basic data 2 view,  then go to System--> Status from main menu.

In Repository Data there will be additonal field called "Transaction variant" if it is active along with name.

if exists then copy that value and try in SHD0. Hope this helps

Re: SP6 upgrade issue

Hi Deepak,

For your first issue, loading up http://localhost:8080/ is a Tomcat related issue. As soon as you install Tomcat, without deploying any kind of web applcations to it, you should see that page. If you don't, then you know something is wrong with the way Tomcat installed.

As far as your second issue, trying stopping Tomcat, clearing out the cache files ($CATALINA_HOME\work\Catalina\localhost), starting Tomcat back up. Something may just have gone wrong with the way Tomcat created the cache file. By deleting the old one and allowing Tomcat to create a new one, it should speed things up a bit.

If you're still noticing this slowish, redeploy the CMC application, after stopping the Tomcat service, to Tomcat using the following command in the command prompt:

wdeploy tomcat55 -DAPP=CMC deploy

I'd further suggest clearing out cache files, before starting Tomcat back up after a deployment, to ensure that no old files are left lingering around. This way, you know you have a clean deployment of CMC and it isn't that.

Hopefully the above resolves your issue.

Re: COPA Delta Extraction Issue

Hi Peru,

Never delete delta req which was failed at  PSA Level, this also give some inconsistency.

After making req to red, if you trigger delta info pack, it may asks for repeat delta, yes and continue. it will fetch last delta records and present only.

which you deleted delta request was wrong. no need to worry.

You lost the delta records. so now you need to run repair full request with proper selections to full missed records.

Thanks
