The standard options are a % split or a set value. Both of which seem arbitrary. There are other ways to split but are more complicated.

Do you receive any error message or the launcher just open excel without the Analysis for Office?
The BI Platform launcher usually open the analysis for office and activate it automatically.
The addon may be inactive and you just need to activate it.

A few bdocs got processed with green for this specific customer which is replicated to CRM from ECC and final one got failed, please let me know how to check, for which change this final bdoc got failed and let me know how to check the change values in the failed or processed bdocs.

We added the ovs element without tagging it with "all devices"
we selected only "desktop" , "Mobile" and "tablet".
It was activated without errors and we can see the value help in Custom BO in iphone , tablet and pc.

Hi I have stock data snapshot stored on the daily basis represented as key date . I also have sales data on invoice date, If I combine the two views then universe/lumira is requesting for key date and data loads only for same. Is it anyway to avoid this short coming? Ben

Manu is not seeing the issue as his systems have SP level equivalent or higher than what is required to be able to see this field.

you need to be atleast NW 700/SP28. The SP pack level of your system is low hence the issue.
Thank you Amit. This explains a lot. Just as a test I ran all delta info packages manually in BW. It extracted the data. Now when I go to RSA7 in ECC, I still see the same no of entries (that I had before) for datasources for which I ran delta info package. Example- 2LIS_03_BF.
But, when I try to see the data by selecting the datasource, it shows no data (zero entries) .
This is applicable to all datasources except 0FI_GL_4 for which entries were zeroed out.
I don't understand this.
My question is - did entire delta move to BW? if yes, then why do I still see no of entries under column Total in RSA7?

Regarding the HR Renewal. Is it optional or not? If we upgraded ECC 6.0 EHP7 does it mean that we should upgrade to HR Renewal or we can stay with old ESS/MSS? Is there any impact? What add-on we should have for ESS/MSS if not upgrade to HR Renewal 2?

Thanks Dell for the quick response. For this case, this file is being called/executed directly within an ERP system and the report file wouldn't be opened for any other reason by anyone. Based on this, what would be the best way to confirm which application currently has that file open?

Just wanted to note that in SQ02 the menu Goto -> Query directory is NOT the same as menu Environment -> Directories -> Queries for infoset. Hopefully it saves some time to those who (like me) only see the keywords and conclude they know the rest already.
