Hi Antonio,
1. create 2 methods.
2. call the first method in standard method WDMODIFYVIEW of view with condition
if FIRST_TIME = 'X'.
3. create a TIMEDTRIGGER element in view.give the value '10' ( time in sec) to the DELAY property.
4. Create a On Action event for it and call the second method in it.
So first method trigger one time and second method trigger for every 10 seconds.

I didn't find any settings on item master data that seems to be related with bin locations field grayed out, however, you might want to check Bin Location Master Data instead, maybe you restrict item or transaction?
and I just realized that the bin location field is disabled before i set serial number

Create an RFC using tcode SE37 and write source code using insert or modify Z table.
give the RFC credentials to Oracle Developer and structure of each table also, he will map the fields.
remember in Z table 33 crores of records you can save, in you case records are more than that
create two tables with different name.

hcp's trail instance does not allow me to create CDS artifact

Add filed too slowly in SAP B1 for HANA
Hi, Everyone,
I am working on an add-on about SAP Business one for HANA. Need to add filed in user table and SAPB1 table.
There is no problem when add user table filed, but when I tried add field into table ODLN, it is too slow.
At first I tried DI-API, SAPbobsCOM.UserFieldsMD add(), take about 3 minutest to get return value. It is slow but stable.
So I changed to Service Layer, it response 502 gateway error after about 1 minustes, but after about 3 minutes, I can find the field in HANA database, so it add field succeed with error response.
Client Log:
System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (502) Bad Gateway.
Server Log:

Re: Livecache backup failuar
Hello Amar,
as you saw in the first your post:
"1,Open file /sapdb/LCA/sapdata/DISKD0006 failed, open(READ,EXISTING) returned 'Too many open files' (24)"
There were too many files opened by liveCache processes and the limit is reached, so after you restarted the liveCache the resources were released & you was able to create the backup.
- Need to check the xserver prt and dbmsrv prt of the liveCache
- Review the SAP note:628131 - SAP MaxDB/liveCache operating system parameters on UNIX
there is information/explain/recommendations on the parameters settings for "Maximum number of open files (maxfiles, nofiles)".
And SAP note, if liveCache is rinning on Solaris 10 and above:
