Hi,
In the case of MsSQL database, please check the Database is in Online/Offline in SSMS - SQL Server Management Studio.
If its in Offline, plz make it as Online and start the SAP system again.
It will work..

Did you load the SQL Server build in the AdminConsole? There is a build for each database type so you need to load the correct one. In the SQL Server build you will find a different syntax than the Oracle build, which includes adding the database name (Initial Catalog).

In adobe forms, it will automatically truncate the lead zeroes for fields like material number. To not truncate the lead zeroes, copy the field to a character field (a temporary string variable) and use it accordingly in the form.

I have a question regarding this. In such cases(BAdi's) which one would you recommend(BOL Programming or plain CRM_ORDER_READ)? Most of my colleagues recommended me to use CRM_ORDER_READ / CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN for back-end CRM Logic and I stuck to it(without experimenting with BOL Programming). Since these function modules would be called by GenIL classes too wouldn't BOL cause any performance issue?

Outgoing email on Request for Change
Hello,
I have the following issue.
I want to use the function More - Send E-Mail on my Request for Change (transaction type YMCR, copy from SMCR).
To do this, I have added copy control entries for YMCR to 0005 Outgoing Email.
(IMG activites "Define Copying Control for Transaction Types" and "Specify Mapping Rules for Copy Control").
Now, this functionality works.
However, the Outgoing Email now also appears in the "Request for Change Scope" assignment block...
Is there any way to suppress this in the Scope block?

No need to design the layout of Adobe form as we have version management in adobe forms so if we compare the versions we can easily correct the form elements.
The main advantage of adobe forms is version management which is not available for smartforms.

since I was searching for exactly the same documentation, I found the SAP NetWeaver Identity Management Identaity Center - Identity Store Schema - Technical Reference (SAP NetWeaver Identity Management 7.2 Documentation> Identity Center General Documents). Some of the attributes are listed and explained in there in section 2, "Alphabetical list of attributes with ABAP mapping".
Also, we use "CompanyId" as the attribute to fill the user group in SAP, the IdM-attribute counterpart is "MX_ADMIN_UNIT". So I hope this helps at least with this. ^^

QM Config for New Plant
Dear All,
We have created new plant in SAP. It is production unit.
We have done MM/PP related configuration.
In QM Config I have following query :
1. During QM Config I am not able to enter "Proposal for inspection point valuation" ("Result Recording" tab) in SPRO->Quality Managment->Basic Setting -> Maintain Settings at Plant Level ("Result Recording" tab)

Can we copy one plant data to another in QS51.
We have 3 catalog for X001 plant. Now I wan to copy all three catalog to new plant Y001. I am not able to find any option in QS51 to copy data.

Hi All Experts,
Did you know any way to reset values of an Edittext (bound to a date field)?
The control shows the calendar
I enter 't' and hit tab
It shows me todays date
I move back to the control
When I delete or backspace the value in the date bound edittext control and hit tab. it apears again.
Why this is happening and what should I do to clear the value?
