Re: how can I see a report view to add it to a work center

Hi Lisa,

 

I have created a cloud data source, created a report and embedded the report into Customer TI under a new Tab. Now, if i run the report under reports section with Account ID as input, it works fine. However, the same report under Account TI gives me a message "No report data available to display; Check the selection".

Now if I go and analyse the report, the Account ID is there but on pressing the Go button, i do not see any results

So under the Selection, Integ ID1 is mapped to Account ID, however, it doesn't display any data.

 

I would really appreciate any pointers.

Hi

 

No it is not the way of creating normal change.

 

First of all you need to make the request for change to "Being implemented" status.

 

Actions- -> Validated,

 

Actions-> To be approved

 

Now in scope assignment block assign the scope as normal change or urgent change.

 

Approval block-> Approve the request

go to actions->Being implemented

 

You will see the change document will be created.

  • The tile you have given to the post 'SAP-PM Work Orders' is incorrect.
  • You asked initially 'how to close a work order, if there no notification available?'
  • You also say 'i do not have authorization to perform " Complete (business)"... '

First Option:-

Schedule the report in excel.

 

Second Option:-

Open the report in webi rich client and then save as Excel, it will take time but wont timeout.

Mehrer SQL-Server

Hallo zusammen,

 

kann mir jemand sagen, ob man mehrere SQL-Server mit einem Lizenz-Server betreiben kann. Ich möchte gerne einen Datenbank-Server für Entwicklung und Tests nutzen.

 

Ich versuche in der SLD-Konfiguration einen Server hinzuzufügen, bekomme aber immer eine Fehlermeldung "Error while connecting to database Server". Der eingerichtete SQL-user hat Admin - Rechte und alle anderen Vorausetzungen sollten beim SQL-Server auch gegeben sein, Collation, etc.

 

Braucht man da unter Umständen zusätzliche Lizenzen von SAP?

 

Bin für jegliche Hilfe dankbar.

please try to generate a new MSMP version. Maybe you can see more details about this error. Or check via transaction GRFNMW_DBGMONITOR_WD.

 

Just an idea. In our upgrade we didn't face this issue.

Hi Ashwini,

 

let me beginn with issue nr. 2. Please have a look to your project type customizing. There you have to assign the task types to your project types. Only these task types are allowed for assigning.

Issue nr. 1 (usage of task type): It is rather a philosophic aspect to use the task types. It is a need for using the status management. In a normal way the task type is used to have different customizing like the way tasks are treated when the are completed. Another way is the different calculation model with the use of cost/revenue rates. Last but not least many companies use this attribute to get their reporting done.

 

You have the option to make defaults to the task type by the user settings. Another possibilty is using BAdI DPR_ATTRIBUTES to make defaults to the field(s) on the coding level. If you do this via implementing the BAdI you can afterwards hide the drop-down field via customizing the field catalog.

Hi Sven,

the problem is just on records in 2001, when I run time evaluation the recorded absences in it2001 is took into account as authorized leave and so no absence and that's ok and all the reports are ok too, but after some hours when I check the same result in the report for the same person the the abscense hours recorded in IT2001 is counted as absence hours and also displayed as authorized leave!!!!

I checked the schema, I didn't uses such a command in it and the dates for calculation is as past routine.

Hi,

 

My Fiori Launchpad Designer is looked ugly. No theme, no color.

I have updated my SAP UI5 runtime from 1.30.1 to 1.30.9 already. But it doesn't help.

 

Any hint for this error? Thank you very much.

Hmm...you are right, however I get an error on the action.

Before I investigate deeper, I wanted to try the same on my Z-SMCR - but there I can't add a project and also not the scope.

Both blocks are just in read function and the "Add" button isn't there.

 

Do you know what might be the reason for this?

Hi,

 

I suggest you to check making use of FOLDER option here. You can use FOLDER->EVENTS to check footer height and trigger footer only after main window and on last page at desired location.

 

This method helps avoid reserve page space for footer and you can overlap main window and Footer window still having the same effect of printing Footer on last page at desired position.

I think you'll need a custom remote FM for this purpose.

 

I don't know if exits a FM similar to META_READ_TABLE in ECC.

Hi Rizwan,

 

getRows() will fetch you only the rows that are loaded at DOM. So, as others suggested it's better to use a formatter, since we can toggle the Boolean value based on model value.

 

Let us know the reason, why you don't want to use a formatter for your scenario. If it is a hard requirement, then we will have to check for an alternative solution which involves lots of coding.

Spool: bad performance with Access Type G

Hi there,

 

we are having a Problem when using frontend printing via Access type G. The Performance in printing to a PDFcreator is extremely slow (about 1 page per second).

 

Formerly we used Access type F with saplpd. The printout of lets say 500 pages then took about 10 seconds until the pdfcreator came up. But now with Access type G it takes about 10 minutes. One thing to notice ist that when observing the printing in the Windows Printer, the first ca. 25 Pages are finished very fast (about 1-2 Seconds). After that the slowdown sets in (1 sec per page).

 

Does anyone have an idea why the performance went down so badly?

 

We are using sapgui 740 patch 4.

sap_basis 740 sp12, Kernel 742
