FM to fetch Number of a WT from RT
Dear All,
We have a scenario in India Payroll.
We are creating the custom report, where we need few WTs NUM from RT of the employee in the report to process.
We have got few FM to fetch the Payroll WT data. Like as below:
HRCM_PAYROLL_RESULTS_GET
PYXX_READ_PAYROLL_RESULT
But the problem we are facing is this FM is only fetching AMT part of the WT and not NUM from RT.
So please guide how the NUM part of the WT can be fetched in the custom report through this FM.
Or any other FM we require to do the needful.

Message 06 249 is maintained as error message because whenever i would go for creating new PO against that PR without removing fixed vendor/ Info record we are getting same error.

Re: Stock for required data does not exist during repack of product
HI,
ok, from the looks of it I thought the WT is just a partial quantity, respectively that you have more then one WT.
The thing is that if you have a WT (and the deconsolidation work center and a pick point are the only work centers where you should have this) the quantity is like bound to the WT. So you do not repack the product, but actually the WT (with the product quantity in it).
There are two possibilities to repack the WT:
- you click on the arrow in front of the product in the left frame, then the hierarchy opens. You mark the WT, which can now be seen, and you drag and drop it into the new HU.
- When you define a work center layout, there is a flag you can set for the tabs in the scanner area, called "Deconsolidation". Then on this tab, you have a line where you can enter a product, a HU, a BI or a WT. Looks similar to your second screenshot in this thread, but offers simply this additional possibility. Or actually your first screenshot, I just noticed you kidnapped this thread 
. So probably the partial quantity is what Claudiu had.
Regarding your issue that whatever you do the WT is not activated, there are some possibilities.
- first of all you should of course check if the process step on the HU is really confirmed. Doubleclick on the HU and then in the right frame, check the tab Details 1 or 2 (or something like that...), if the flag is completed is set.
- check if there is anything in the inbound queue showing that the system tries to create a new WT or activate the WT.
- check the storage type of the work center. In the storage type is a flag "Stor. Ctrl/Putway compl.". This must not be set.

ABAP code for multiple releases
Im hoping someone has an idea or solution to a one major issues and a few minor issues relating to language differences across releases.
Key pain point is the syntax for select and joins.
since 7.20 ? and actual 7.40 select joins require variables to be escaped with @
in 7.00 and earlier this syntax is not supported.
How can you write code that runs in all versions from 7.00
I could live with no support for 6.40 and lower. But 7.00 support is a must.
The cost and effort of maintaining multiple development systems is significant.
I can accept not using string = string && string
and sticking to concatenate s1 s2 into s3.
But the outcome with SELECT syntax means we can not use joins at all.
Anybody know a solution to the SELECT join syntax that works in 7.00 and 7.40 ?

Hi Ruben,
What is the end point which you are using in soap UI because according to your error message all the details are null. You need to pass sender business system, interface and namespace in the endpoint url using query parameters.

Hi Richie,
You don't even need PDI for this. You can create a new tab and a section inside using the key user tools (adaption mode). Then you can go to the acitivty and visit facet and use the copy and past functionality to copy the panes you want to the new facet you created.
This is a different object, but here you see the copy icon on the visit pane.
Here you can see the paste button on a new custom section.
This is how it's done. I pasted the visit pane from the Service & Repair facet to the activities facet.
The same is possible to a new custom tab.

Yes, but why you want to stop the V3 job while BW data loads are running?
What is the V3 job frequency?
To stop the job , SM37 --> there will be a job which is scheduled to run the V3 job.
job looks like "LIS-BW-VB_APPLICATION_11". --> select the released job --> from menu --> JOB --> Select the option "Release --> Scheduled". The V3 job will be stopped. Once BW data loads are finished you can reschedule the V3 job back.
There is no automatic process where V3 jobs get's stopped when BW data loads are running.
You can schedule the job in such a way that will run only in a particular time frame not when BW loads are running.

Simple Requirement.!!!
Hi Experts,
Here is the Requirement: We have screen developed by webdynpro. User will fill the data in screen and submit for approval. In the developed screen itself have Approve and reject options.
First Mail will go to Approver outlook with Portal URL.
Once Approver Clicks on Portal URL Link through Outlook. It needs to direct Portal webpage. Once enter portal credentials he need to execute the Work item.
Work item is a developed webdynpro screen with Approve and Reject options.
Through Send mail step we can send Portal URL?
We can create one t-code screen developed by Webdynpro? That T-code we can send as dialog Work item with Activity step? to UWL?
Can you Help me to Achieve this?
