Dear Markus,
I have developed over 40 different applications that fetches information from SAP. most of the applications are running smoothly. yet there are some that are showing the error mentioned above. I have incorporated the instructions mentioned above, yet the system is showing the same error. this error occurs on a time to time basis.
Need your support in getting a fix on it.

Hello Amol,
SAP 3D Visual Enterprise can be used either as a stand-alone scenario or in an integrated scenario with an existing ERP.
With SAP 3D Visual Enterprise, CAD data stored in third party PLM system is being converted to light-weight viewing files and stored in SAP. These files are then further processed and animated for publication.
Consider an example for task list and maintenance order creation. We can define such files in additional data for material. Then these files can be used with help of Visual Enterprise for spare part selection in task lists and maintenance orders.
You will get detailed documentation with their usage on below link:
SAP 3D Visual Enterprise – SAP Help Portal Page
Thanks,
Prashant
Dear Android,
Indeed I want to implement a restriction to allow moving "K" stock only in certain bins:
In my case I have dedicated bins per supplier for "K" stock. Hence, I would like to avoid that material A in bin "ABC" belonging to supplier 1 can be moved to the bin "DEF" of material A of supplier 2.
I am looking for a way to do this via Customizing (if possible) or the right User Exit I could place some code in.
Cheers
K
Hi Mikael,
In 9.0.15, go to "Definitions > Processes" (for process definitions) or "Definitions > Chains" (for chains), select "edit" from the context menu of "Monitoring_Batch_Runtime_FABD". On the "Parameters" tab, locate and select the parameter "ZJOB_NAME", in the lower pane, right at the end, you have the "Parameter Options" field, there you have "Runtime".
Note that it is not necessary for the parameter to be Display, it "has to" be Runtime, though.
Regards,
HP
Message was edited by: h. Carpenter Added instructions for chains, as I noticed you mentioned chain parameter. Basically, you just edit the chain or process definition, on the parameters tab, you have the all the parameter properties.
Hi Florian
Unfortunately this was just a typo here in the forum.
I narrowed it down a bit further: Actually: "test"."value1" would be the right syntax to pass the value to the scalar function.
In the function I have tried to just return the value - which works, also a simple calculation works.
Then I have tried to use a function like:
FUNCTION "calculateAge" ( ID VARBINARY(32) )
RETURNS Age VARBINARY(32) LANGUAGE SQLSCRIPT SQL SECURITY INVOKER AS
BEGIN
DECLARE currentDate DATE;
DECLARE birthDate DATE;
currentDate:=:=current_date;
select "birthdate" into birthDate from "MyTable" where "bID" = :ID ;
select (round(days_between(:birthDate ,:currentDate )/365)) into Age from dummy;
END
And this is where I get my error:
SAP DBTech JDBC: [2048]: column store error: search table error: [6900] Attribute engine failed;L execution failed with rc=20787, "SAP_HPH"."sap.plugins.mimic.db.functions::calculateAge": line 19 col 5 (at pos 1041): [1299] (range 3) no data found exception: no data found,raw [here]eval_i(string unused_constant(), string unused_constant(), string unused_constant(), string unused_constant(), raw "SYSTEM.#_SYS_QO_COL_7f292a49a640:6000000000c496c.DWID"),SYSTEM.#_SYS_QO_COL_7f292a49a640:6000000000c496c.DWID = 'MIMICPRESCRIPTION_1026619'[raw]
The same statement with a hard coded value:
select "birthdate" into birthDate from "MyTable" where "bID" = '100';
Works absolutely fine...
I made sure the the data types match in my example.
Hi
Regarding the issue you are facing I would like to clarify few queries.
1. How are you launching the WD Abap application ? Can you provide a screenshot of the same ?
2. Is the issue seen in all the browser's? And by all user's ?
3. Can you launch the application directly without portal and then check how is the issue seen ?

Hi Pradeep,
First you understand business process. As per business point of view Purchase requisition going to created either by Inventory Department or User Departmentor MRP. They don't want overall price of materials. They need only Quantity. Because Purchase requisition is internal document.
But Purchase order is created by Purchase organisation. In purchase Order Header condition tab shows overall price of materials. Because Purchase order is External document. Purchase Dept going to deal with vendor. Purchase organisation want overall price of materials.
Create two line item in Purchase order with reference to purchase requsition. See the difference in header condition tab

Dear Satya
based on thread Help on EH & S SVT EXP DELIVERY SCENARIO
I try to help you:
1.) In SAP ERP you use normally SAP MM, SAP SD and SAP PP; on the top you can use SAP EHS
2.) a produktion "BOM" is only "there" if you really "produce" somehow
(e.g. use as an example: bring together water + coffee + sugar + milk => and will get a nice cup of coffee)
Therefore: i want BOS Exported substances only to EU.
=> if you have no production you have no BOM (as shown above). E.g. as explained you couild be simply a "reseller" and buy chemistry, use different label and sell it once again; here you don't need a BOM; Therefore you will get no "BOS"
If you talke a look on the many "BOM BOS" discussion here. even if there are BOMs: you can be quite sure that there are many alternative per plant; and that the "same" chemistry might be produced in more than one plant; tehrefore you have many BOMs; and this is not an easy situation to use BOM BOS In some parallel thread discussion come up, that somebody can defined a "reference BOM" to be used to create BOS; not a bad idea but inreal life not easy to handle (depending on size of company and complexity of BOMs etc.)
Is your topic now solved?

the "nutrition group" topic is discussed here rarely. it belongs only "partly" to EHS classic and is used normally different

PS: check e.g.

TO a certain extent: Extract EHS nutritional value composition to BW | SCN

Hi HT,
What's the final requirement, what do you want to do with those cells? Do you want to apply Element Linking on them, so when you click on a value, other blocks reflect that selection? Or something else? Please respond to this question for sure.
If yes, you don't have to use cells, instead, try using the table as you have, right click on one of the values select format cell and
If you don't want to apply Element Linking on them, then in just once cell in which you got multivalue error, I assume you just used =[ReportYearMonth], instead of that use the below formula:
=Replace(Reportfilter([ReportYearhMonth]);";";Char(10)+Char(13))

Dear Experts,
We are in the phase of implementing SAP at a renowned automotive company. The client has a requirement of sending time based delivery schedules to vendor and want SAP to automatically generate delivery schedules with particular delivery day and time.
They will use Scheduling agreements with release documentation and we need to have date and a particular time in day (delivery time spot) to be automatically suggested by system. The vendor supplies goods in a regular fashion i.e. after every four hours as soon as he receives a JIT release.
We want system to allocate time to delivery schedules lines generated from MRP run.
Is there any functionality in SAP from which we can break down requirements to a particular delivery time within a working day let say 8:00 am and then 12:00 pm.
Any help in this regard would be highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Fahad
Hello Shefali,
Valuation Area is another term for the Plant, so you must be fine with OKB9.
Besides you can always use a substitution that allows more flexible criteria if needed.
