there are several things here that I don't understand at the moment:
1. "However, when I run the application, I get the error ..."
This stack trace does not look like it comes from an HCP application. It rather looks like someome started About.main() from the console?! Can you provide the "full" stack trace and a bit of sample code about where exactly you get this exception?
2. "When I debug further, I see that the neo-java-web-sdk-2.50.9.zip does not have any files under /repository."
The neo-java-web-sdk is not used on HCP side! (The VMs on HCP side already have the JCo runtime "built-in" and don't need any additional jars.) It is used only, when you set up a local server on your frontend machine. And you say, you got this error after your deployed the app to HCP, right? So the contents of the zip file should be irrelevant to the current problem. (Or do you also get the error, when you run your example on the local runtime?)

Error while creating Message for extended Idoc

I am getting an error while creating an message type for extended I-Doc .

I followed below procedure.
1.created custom segment in WE30 and released.
2.created an extended I-doc and relesed in WE31 and released.
Still I am getting error, i am hintless.please suggest any changes if needed.

This would be a great Idea that I copy it from the /EPS/in (CSR0120031469_0096991.PAT) from our Sandbox System. But there is no file like that.
Also in the old SUM-Download directory there is no file like SAPK-750BHINSAPBW.SAR ...
So I have no possibility to copy it from our Sandbox.
Maybe someone has the SAPK-750BHINSAPBW.SAR or CSR0120031469_0096991.PAT file?
I think that the file should come out of the UpgradeExport directory but I don't know how to look there for such files, seems like the files inside the UpgradeExport directory are compressed somehow.

I tried to do what you told me. I am not quite sure about "Can you please check which Screen you're using for Infotype 2?" I would dare to think that you are talking about Hiring, Retirement, Leaving... Hiring Service Provider. I've tried with Hiring and Hiring Service Provider and I still get the same error message.
I went to SM30/31 and since I dont know what Module Pool I am in, I chose MP000000. I dont see ant Required Field. 
Even if there were a required field, I still get the message error when I fill everything up, like if I had still a blank space (which I don't).

So you mean if you remove parameter QER, you have problems for Inprocess inspection, but incoming inspection it is fixed?
Well, you can first check that serial number is NOT ACTIVE for incoming inspection type 01, but ACTIVE for in process inspection type 03. Then you can try removing the parameter ID for user ID.
After that try to check - MIC is Single Results active and correct combination '11-Recording by units to be inspected" and not '12-Single values and summarized results'/Default view is maintained. Check if there is any impact.
Please share your investigation once again...

OBN Navigation
Hi All,
I've got a custom BO and generated the screen scenario with navigation and now it seems I'll need to use a GAF instead of QA/OIF.
My question is how do I set up the OBN navigation for this? so I can go from OWL to GAF instead of OWL to QA etc...
I cant find any help or documentation on this

Hi,
that is not an "standard" method to do a "refresh".
What you are doing is "putting" data out and then putting the data in. Export is not supposed to delete data, only to record it out of the database. Import is not suppose to delete data, only to putting the previous data again into the database.
Therefore, it works as designed.
I do not think it is very "clever" what you are doing as it will (probably) create inconsistencies.
if you want to do a refresh you should follow the homogeneus system copy guides, that is the supported, tested way of doing refreshs

For PO release, we have standard workflow 'WS20000075' provided by SAP. Whenever PO is created, the event 'RELEASESTEPCREATED' would get triggered. There would be a linkage in between this workflow and the said event.
Your functional consultant will configure the release strategy with level of approvals. The standard rule '20000027' will pick the agents to whom the approval mail needs to be sent.
For mail body, customize the standard task in the above workflow according to your client requirement.
