SAP MDG Hub – Multiple source systems - Central Master Data Management
Hi MDG Experts,
I am new to SAP MDG.
The business scenario we have is, we have more than 10 source systems both SAP & Non-SAP. We want to use MDG hub for central master data management and approval process. For each source systems, data users will come to MDG hub and create/modify their master data and approver approve it. Once it is approved, these master data will be extracted and send to target systems.
My questions::
1. The above scenario is possible with MDG Hub
2. How to we control each source system and its approvers in MDG Hub
3. How do we implement security for each source system and its requesters and approvers.
4. How much approx. work effort / custom development is needed for the above scenario
Anyone implemented the above business scenario or how do handle this in MDG?

If you maintain a batch search strategy via VCH1 that will populate batch codes in the outbound delivery during delivery creation (before T.O. creation) you will find an option there to limit the number of batch splits allowed in standard system. You may have to add customer in a custom access sequence (I don't believe that field is available in standard access sequence but it can easily be added).
For user exit info please share the current method you are using to determine batch codes, the batch code can be defined in the sales orders and flow into the delivery or it can be (as mentioned above) determined in the delivery document, or are you determining batch codes during TO creation itself?
Please provide more details on the method for batch selection you are currently using.

Again, I appreciate your taking the time to reply. Unfortunately, I'm having a problem comprehending the answers you've provided.
You said - "you are not developing for SQL Server. You are developing or testing for SAP NetWeaver, which is a platform that runs on SQL Server."
This implies that the people that *developed* the SQL Server component of the SAP NetWeaver platform were either;
- - Somehow not aware that Microsoft provides a cost effective way to develop platforms that run on SQL Server
- - Somehow not aware that the Microsoft SQL Server Developer License is identical in every way to the Enterprise (and higher) editions of SQL Server Licenses
- - Aware of the above scenarios, yet nevertheless chose to force clients to incur significant costs in potential licensing fees (again, in my company's case $55,000USD) in order to obtain "SAP Support" for the installation.
Let me pose a hypothetical scenario / question:
If an SAP Customer (with their own Microsoft Enterprise Agreement / Licenses) was utilizing an Enterprise license for their production SAP environment, and a Developer license for their SAP development environment, and required "SAP Support" to resolve an issue with their production environment, what course of action would SAP take against the customer?

is it possible for you you to do restart of java only? If you are allowed smicm-> j2ee-> global-> hard -> shutdown -> with restart
then wait for java to restart depending on system give it 10 to 15 minutes.
lets see what a clean restart does, if issue persists i would suggest then to look at visual administrator and increase the connection pool for sapsr3db.

Profile and blog image resolution on social platforms
The current default image that appears on an SCN blog that is share through LinkedIn is the profile image. This image comes through to LinkedIn at a very low resolution and degrades the credibility of the content of the blog. We need SCN to support the highest resolution that the social platforms support for images. The image that accompanies a blog post in social media is extremely important and has great influence on whether the post actually gets read. Right now, all SCN posts look terribly blurry in comparison to other content. I have attached an example with the SCN post on the right.
Also, SCN blog should have the ability to display an alternative (also hi resolution) image. Posting the profile image with the SCN blog to LinkedIn is not usually the most compelling way to attract readers.
Guidance should be provided to the SCN members when uploading images on what resolution will show up best when sharing beyond SCN.

Unfortunately we can't fully understand the meaning of the error. Can we delete that document directly from the queue without create inconsistencies?
