Personally I prefer a GUI that does not interrupt me when I am entering data but does give me visual indicators that something is "concerning" - but I don't write your requirements either.
I would have to agree with you there... However the users have requested this addition. Unfortunately I am only in a position to do what is requested.

Trimming internal table based on criteria
Dear ABAP gurus,
I have an internal table say itab1 which has 2 fields- user,terminal( 'terminal' field denotes terminal from which 'user' has logged in)
This internal table has records.
From this table I want a list of all those users who have logged in from more than 1 terminal
How can I get the required list in another internal table (say itab2) ?
(itab2 will have the same 2 fields,so required list is basically a subset of itab1)

Hi Venkat,
In short, delta require some kind of information in order to work (e.g. timestamp/change log), and the objects you mentioned do not have any of them.
Say for example, a standard DSO can use as a delta source as system maintain change log information while update, but in the case of "DSO for Direct Update" as change log is removed to speed up update process, so it is not possible to use as a delta source.

And it is more or less the same for InfoObjects and InfoSets, the only difference is the required information did not put into the objects at the very beginning. (i.e. it is by design)

Perfect. As per your findings - Automodel Selection 2 is able to automatically select (both interactively and background) a (correct) forecasting model for products in the selection by following their history data pattern.

but you can using @Hai Wang mentioned statement to check. you need create a authority object(SU21) with those four field, Dom. Sales Org, Direct Sales, Product Division.
then add this object to role(PFCG), in the profile, you can add some value which is this kind of role can validated. And assign this role to user. in your program, using above statement to check.
Let`s say, you add value 1,2,3 when maintaince the role.
when using authority-check object 'XXX'
id 'field1' field '4'.
the sy-subrc will NE 0. beacuse '4' is not maintaince in your role.

Idoc for Project/WBS creation issue
Hey Folks,
I have a scenario where outbound idocs need to be triggered whenever there is a new project and wbs which is created through CJ01. The distribution model is maintained correctly and the idoc configurations ( partner profile, basic type message type linkage) are all correct. After debugging the issue was found in the subroutine ' distribute_project_ale' that calls the FM ALE_PROJECT_SAVEREPLICA. In this subroutine there is a FM STATUS_CHECK. Only if the outcome of this FM is 2, does the idoc get triggered. Now, to get the output or exception from this FM as 2, after creating the WBS,we have to release and lock the WBS. Only if the WBS is locked does the idoc get triggered. But this is not the required functionality. The WBS will not be locked when the user creates it. We are creating statistical WBS.The required functionality is to get the idoc triggered as soon as it is created from CJ01. Currently due to the check on the FM STATUS_CHECK, the idocs are prevented from getting triggered.Any workaround for this?

ESS: Validation Rule on Standard Percentage in Bank details(IT0009)
Hello Experts,
My client required below validation on portal
If an employee opts for Paycard(bank type) and he does not have the Main bank maintained in IT0009, then the system should not allow him to save unless he puts 100% for Paycard.
The system should display an error message “There is no other bank account maintained. Pls change the % of the amount".
I written the user exit it is working fine on ECC but not reflecting changes on ESS Portal.
Please help me out how should I achieve this.

In /sapapo/res01 u can search with short description, but in /sapapo/sdp94 you can not .Either you can use resource type for selection or else create the selection profile as per your need.
