I was able to fix most of my issues. I gave the specific users that was running the wdeploy command full access to the wdeploy\logs and wdeploy\workdir folders, ran the wdeploy command, restarted tomcat and was able to see the authentication list. However, I got errors during the compilation, this is one of the errors: D:\Crystal\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\wdeploy\tomcat6.xml:564: Failed to copy D:\Crystal\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\wdeploy\workdir\tomcat6\resources\web\BOE\BOE.xml to D:\Crystal\Tomcat6\conf\Catalina\localhost\BOE.xml due to java.io.FileNotFoundException D:\Crystal\Tomcat6\conf\Catalina\localhost\BOE.xml (Access is denied) and I couldn't delete the corrupt D:\Crystal\Tomcat6\conf\Catalina\localhost\BOE.xml
It seems I have some file permissions issues. I wasn't sure if I should make these changes, but seemed to fix part of the errors, at least getting the list to appear. The specific users are administrators and the Administrators local group had full permission, but it would not go past some of the original errors until the users was added specifically in the ACL of those folders. Is there any documents describing what file permissions I should have on the folders?
During a previous install of Crystal Server 2011 this week on the server while working with the problems, I gave those specific users full access to the entire Crystal Install folder. However, I still got the error shown above or one similar.
