Please check whether the component which you are trying to do GI against production order is maintained with backflush or not. If backflush indicator is activated then system will do auto GI when we do confirmation, no need of manual GI. Also Check COGI for backlog records from Auto GI, If the material don't have enough stock then that will goes to COGI you can clear this COGI when you have enough stock, that time system will post the material. Please check it
