Ah, that kind of makes sense, I have not see the whole project so not clear on how you managed the reports but it could be that because the Viewer allows you to simply load a report into it without actually opening it in engine first it could be the cause within the object collections/references... maybe.
Anyways, for new PC's that are typically that much faster than they used to be when we first suggested pre-loading a dummy report to get the runtime loaded is not really required now... And it works for you...
