Hi Gurus,
We would like to migrate our SAP system as per below;
Source:
-SAP SCM 7.0
-Windows Server 2003
-Microsoft SQL Server 2005
Target:
-SAP SCM 7.0
-Windows Server 2012
-Microsoft SQL Server 2012
System Status;
SPAM Components;
Our question is before we do the system copy to new server using SWPM, do we need to upgrade our SPAM components?
Could you please advise and are there any SAP Notes regarding this?
Thank you.
BR,
Fadzly Iqbal
Hi kartik ,
The reply by bala kumar is write and appretiated i want to add one more thing every candidate who cleared the certification exam have got the welcome mail from sap which contains the SAP credential managers user id and password where you can get your Logo as well too many facility provided by sap on sap credential manager .
You mention your certified id on your resume which is printed on the certificate because that's the unique id through which sap recognize all your details

Action Taken:
Hi Maria,
If you analyze GUI_DOWNLOAD function module, for 'DBF', there is not Append Functionality.
That's the reason, when you append the next internal table, only the last internal table(ts_error_list_final) information will come into the excel file.
the below code screen, append_mode variable is not available to append information in same file.
You can try with ASC type to append information.

Praveer.
Hi,
Share the report screenshot where you are getting the error and which formula you have used in the webi?
I can see you have shared your deski formula. Have you replaced comma with semicolon in your webi formula.
Amit
Hi All,
We created two separate payment advices via ff74 and subsequently 2 different payment orders via FF.D . But while executing F111, system is clubbing two items in to one line in the proposal. The requirement is that, it should generate one line per payment order. Please let me know, if this is controlled via any user parameter or any other configuration setting.

Greetings Katrina,
What do you mean by the "wrong counter" - is this a counter on thw wrong position? Or wrong object?
Is the counter used anywhere else in Maintenance Plans?
If no, then you might try to replace the readings - but I'd recommend that you delete and archive the current Maintenance Plan and create a new one with the correct counter.
Dear Rachit Aherwar,
If any report won't be supported by SAP Standard then we will go by either SAP Query or Ad-doc query or SE16.
Ensure we can write SAP Query for info type 0041.

Mohan

Hi All,
I searched for ways to do it and found a badi CRM_BP_UIU_VIEW_CONFIG. In this, there is a method where we can set the variable CV_SUPPRESS_EDIT_BUTTONS as 'X'. And this will make all BP overview page assignment blocks 'Edit' , 'New' and create button disable.
However my problem is that there are OCA buttons to edit and delete a row in assignment block. And even though the assignment 'Edit' button is disable, the OCA buttons are active.
Is there a way so that i can disable these OCA buttons thru this BADI or some other badi, without making changes in some 50 views.
Best Regards,
Pooja

2.) second: is the problem still only happening on the "friday" as you have mentioned? - The latest issue was happened on Wednesday. I'm not sure if there's a limit on the reports generated and once it reached the limit, the connection will be lost and should be refreshed. I don't know if there's such a behavior of WWI.
WWI is restarted after X generation requests. Please see 1240591 - EH&S WWI: WWI server terminates if errors occur
"By default, the WWI server is now restarted every 1000 or 10000 generations. You can configure this value with the RestartServer parameter in the [Global] section of the WWI.ini file.
In the log, you receive the message "Restart Server after more than 1000 requests" or the message specified in symptom 3 is displayed. Ensure that EhsStart or EH&S management server (EhsManSrv) is configured to monitor the WWI services. To deactivate the automatic restarts, set in the [Global] section of the WWI.INI:
RestartServer=0"
But if that would be the case you should be able to see that the WWI Server is restarting in the Windows Event Logs before your RFC issue appears!

b.) the RFC conneciton get lost because of connectivity problems - This is what we're still looking. What are the angles should look into.
Did you enable the RFC trace as well?
See 1242058 - EH&S WWI: Deactivating the RFC traces on how to enable the WWI RFC trace.
(Monitor the amount of data written by the RFC trace closely - it might be quite a lot and could fill up the HDs of your server)
Hope this helps

Now - I got that.
Thanks
Btw, can you explain the below
What is the purpose of having the status of control charts.
1 / 3 / 5 - what does these numbers mean and how will it impact the chart ?
Hello,
The issue was with 'tnsnames.ora' file permissions which were changed during some checks by the migration team.
We reverted back the permissions and connection is OK now.
Thanks a lot!
Uday.
solution: start brrestore and recover again
