Hi Dears

I have some doubts about the Analysis for Office

1) Is it possible to connect the Analysis for office in the universe? If no, for what reason?

2) What are the advantages to connect the Analysis for office in the BI Platform if the universes are not available?

3) I want to understand the option "Insert analysis vision" in the button "Insert data source".

When I select this option I have to inform the username and password from the BI plataform and the program show the BI Launch Pad directory structures, but any object is available to open.

Hi,

At SPS 08 I used to do a little trick inside the SAP HANA Studio Debugger.. When I was looking at a "Data Preview" of a variable, I would click at "Show Log" to see the SQL generated, which was something like that:

SELECT TOP 200 "LINHA", "CR", "ROWNUM_CR_10_14", "ROWNUM_CR14", "ROWNUM_CR_18"

FROM LUCAS."_SYS_DEBUG_TAB_767_VHNWH740_30003_358010_358012_1_648728987650556045_LINHAS_CR_10_14_18_DESORDENADO"

Using that SQL, I could do a more complex data analysis like subquerys, SUMs, etc.. But after upgrading to SPS10, when I try to execute the "generated sql" available at "Data preview - Show log", I receive the following error:

Could not execute 'SELECT TOP 200 "LINHA", "CR", "ROWNUM_CR_10_14", "ROWNUM_CR14", "ROWNUM_CR_18" FROM ...'

SAP DBTech JDBC: [259]: invalid table name: Could not find table/view _SYS_DEBUG_TAB_767_VHNWH740_30003_358010_358012_1_648728987650556045_LINHAS_CR_10_14_18_DESORDENADO in schema LUCAS: line 2 col 12 (at pos 91)

Any ideas on how to analyse the data preview of a variable ?

Hi Sairam,

In order to assign qualification to position (as competencies), you may use transaction PPPM: it's very simple: Find the relevant position and create a new relationship to the relevant qualifications (use the Create button).
You can use the same transaction to assign the qualifications to employees, or through Infotype 0024.
Regarding your last question: unfortunately you are using the old appraisal system and I am familiar only with the new system. So here I can't help you.

Hi Nutan,

If I understand you correctly, you are actually asking about workflow within MSS.

If so, then the answer to your question is yes: "1" will be able to perform action instead of "4", BUT the question is how it may be done:

"4" will have to define "1" as it's substitute; OR
Your workflow consultant may define this logic within the workflows.

This logic should not be effected by the license.

Hi Guys,

This is the 1st time, I am working with MTO scenario. I am stuck in a situation where we want to determine price of FG from the unit costing of project.

Let me explain you we have done so far.

1) After creation of project, WBS, Network and activity, we assign FG to the activity through which we will generate planned order for production and PR for all the dependent requirements.

2) Then we do the unit costing of the FG that we have assigned to that activity.

3) The standard price of FG in the material master is maintained as Rs. 1.

4) So after unit costing, the FG price should have been updated as per the unit costing value but here is the problem, the value of FG is still same Rs. 1.

5) we are using the standard SAP costing variant PS04 for unit costing of material. The strategy sequence is also same standard as given by SAP.

6) Earlier we tried to do costing through automatic network costing through costing variant PS02 but unsuccessful.

Please let me know what I am missing or where I am doing wrong.

You are asking LOTS of questions, and most of them are without any focus or background. That's why nobody has answered you yet.

I will try answering most of them...

Yes. It's possible. From within the PHAP_CATLOG transaction, you can right-click on the appraisal template --> choose Preview --> choose Web Layout.
I am not sure I understand you completely, but if you meant that objects, which have been deleted, are still being transported to other systems when you transfer the transport request, I suggest you do the following:
(a) First, delete the unnecessary objects from the destination client (you may do so by program RHRHDL00)
(b) Wrap all the objects again in a new transport request. Don't use the old request anymore.
Inserting image file into a template depends on which appraisal documents technology you use: if you use BSP technology, you may use HTML Tags to insert the image. If you use Web Dynpro for ABAP technology, you can use Mimes.
Authorizations for POWL configurations is done by the following transactions: POWL_QUERYR, POWL_QUERYU, POWL_TYPER, POWL_TYPEU.
Configuration of Tasks (Infotype 0019) is done in the following IMG path (transaction SPRO): Personnel Management --> Personnel Administration --> Evaluation Basis --> Monitoring of Tasks

Except developers and Security team no one should have developer access its pretty straight forward in all organizations, if any user requesting for developer access outside above mentioned category they should work with developers to get they requirement done.

You don't need to read this information from the tables, you can use BAPI BAPI_REQUIREMENTS_GETDETAIL.

If you still want to read from the tables, you can get this information on tables PBIM and PBED.

I think I can not use Kapsel plug-ins since we are not using HCPms. How would the login work?

I was thinking integrating the app with the fiori client solve the problem, but I am not sure how the scan would work.

is the sap.ndc.barcodescanner part of standard sapui5 libs? So, if I use this, I donot have to package the app as hybrid and deploy???? I am just trying to understand the different between this barcode and the cordova barcode.
