You can start by entering the term "failed IDoc" in the search box at the upper right of this page, and then reviewing the hundreds of postings in these forums where the subject has already been discussed.
Idocs have been developed by SAP to cover all common data exchange requirements. It is beyond the scope of an SCN forum to describe the entire library of IDocs, how they might fail, and what methods would be appropriate to correct the failures.
You might want to familiarize yourself with basic IDoc functionality, by reviewing help.sap.com. Try IDoc Interface/ALE - SAP Library to start.

If the user who is performing the reports/KPI assignment to work centers is assigned to any of the Partner Development Work Center then the system considers him/her as a PDI Developer and hence prevents he/she from performing the assignment of Reports/KPIs.
You can follow the below steps:
- Under Application and User Management Work Center
- Go to Business Users View
- Search for the related Business User
- Click on Edit Access Rights
- Go to Work Centers tab
- Unassign the user from the Partner Development (PDI_PARTNER_DEVELOPMENT) and Development (MAI_DEVELOPMENT) work centers
- Save.
If the issue still does not gets addressed then kindly report an incident to us so that we can remove the user from the PDI_DEVELOPER table in the backend.

If I understand your requirement, you are trying to create a folder kind of thing with links to a set of documents that you want to use frequently ?
Couple of options that you can check out :
1) Create a shortcut of those documents in that folder
2) Create a create a CATEGORY FOLDER & add those documents to your category/personal category

That's correct.
In your earlier reply, you mentioned determination technique for many things - shipping point determination, route determination etc. These all follow a specific rule. There is no priority involved with them (it is a straight-forward rule).
But what I am looking here is - if something is maintained at different places (like delivery plant which can be maintained at CMIR, Customer MD and Material MD) then how SAP decides which one to pick...like there is a priority rule 1. CMIR, 2. Customer MD, 3. Material MD.
We know that the precedence rule is always - from specific to general. But still, if you can provide more such examples where priority is involved, then that will be a great help.

The step "ECO Has Chg", is that a dalog step? Make sure it's working correctly.
It should be binding _WI_RESULT to something in the workflow container (so not the other way around) but that isn't necessary to get the workflow to continue properly - it will branch depending on _WI_RESULT. So make sure your step is assigning it correctly.

Apart from creating SPNs corresponding to the Loadbalancer, no other configuration is required for the SSO to work using LB.

Message Manager & Persistent property
Hello,
I have been trying to use UI5's latest message manager as per following link:
I have set persistent to false, still old messages are being retained.
Everytime a new error is there on the control, it inserts a new message instead of replacing the old one for the same target.
Has anyone experienced this problem & has been able to crack it?

Hello,
I have been asked to show a warning to users if they are trying to extend a material using MM01 and the material has a cross plant block (MARA-MSTAE). I am using popup_to_confirm with warning message icon and the options to Proceed or Exit. If the user presses 'Exit' I need to write logic here to get out of MM01 without creating the extended material. I am checking the answer from the popup_to_confirm fm (if lv_ans = 2 i.e. user chose EXIT). I have tried leave to transaction 'MM01' and EXIT. Both of those take me back to the main screen of MM01 but the record was created in the database.
Can anyone help with this?

The values that are coming here for SAP-EP-IVIEWHANDLE is good but the values are weird (like guid 16 eg: pcdshort:/VpKidawKvzy) for others.

You can try the WDEVENT methods in the Window HANDLEDEFAULT method but I am not sure.

We have a scenario where we have finished product is getting packed from vendor to DC plant A .
Where as component is produced in plant B.Please suggest where we can have a BOM for finished product
where the component need to produced in different plant.Please suggest
12345--Finished Product ---> Procured from sub-contracting vendor to plant A as selling is done to customer from plant A
1000001111 Semi-Finished product is produced in Plant B
Please suggest how BOM need to be updated.
