When I try to assign a Vendor to an item in ME51N in Personas, the Vendor is not carried over.
I try to assign a vendor 10000223:
However it sticks to the previously assigned Vendor 10000216:
Is this a known issue?

Indian PM Modi's vision of Digital India in the Silicon Valley
Last week, the Prime Minister of India Mr. Narendra Modi visited Silicon Valley. This is the first time in 30 years that a leader from India has visited the West Coast. Usually, Indian officials focus on the East Coast during their US visits, particularly Washington D.C. The fact that Mr. Modi decided to extend his visit to the Silicon Valley gives a glimpse into his vision of Digital India.
Mr. Modi met with technology leaders such as Google's Sundar Pichai, Microsoft's Satya Nadella, Adobe's Shantanu Narayen, Cisco's John Chambers, Quallcomm's Paul Jacobs and Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg. You can watch a videos of his talk at a Digital Technology dinner and his conversation with Mr. Zuckerberg at the Facebook HQ.
Mr. Modi also made an appearance at SAP Center and gave a rousing speech to 18,500 people in the audience. My husband Pravin Kumar and I were one of them. In true Indian fashion, the evening was an extravaganza of dance and drama. Here is a picture from our SAP box seats:

Prime Minister Modi shared an inspiring vision of bringing technology and connectivity to the masses - even to citizens who have not had this opportunity in the past. He talked about internet Wi-Fi connectivity, not only in airports as we have today, but to the railway stations which millions of Indian citizens use every day. He shared the story of small fishermen using their mobile phones to share information about weather conditions to increase their safety and fishing yield.
Personally, I have a lot of hope for Mr. Modi's vision. I hope he works on the Physical India as well the Digital one. I hope he and his administration uphold India's established standard of secularism and create a welcoming environment for all, regardless of religion. I hope he keeps his promises, and that India thrives under his administration. Jai Hind.

I have done further experiment on this topic, please allow me to ask a couple of follow-up questions:
1) Step 2 Aggregate KF value to Yr from Month, you suggested the follow
HKF1@YRPROD = SUM(HKF1@MTHPROD)
I tried another variation - it seems to be possible to also use time independent planning level @PROD to do the aggregation, and that would allow Step 3 to use just NULL at the end without creating a helper HNULL@PERPROD
For this aggregation step, between using @YRPROD and @PROD, does one better than the other?
2) Step 3 is to put aggregated Yr value to the current month
it seems that the YR comparison part (i.e. "PERIODID1" = "$$PERIODID1CU$$" ) can be omitted as long as PERIODID0 check is there, would your agree?

Publishing reports in Design Studio
Hello Everyone
We have a WAD 3.x report with embedded MODIFY_CLASS to pull extra long texts into report. However, after upgrading to 7.0 the classes are not working since SAP removed support. Now we are planning to replicate the report into design studio dashboard.
I searched SDN for any relevant options or notes applicable to replicate the feature in design studio. Can someone please shed some light how can we achieve this.
I know we have CSS classes available in design studio, through which we can change the appearance of the component. But, can we manipulate the data
though CSS class? the current class in WAD is extracting the long text from source system .
As Design studio, is future replacement of WAD, is sap planning to deliver the support for classes

I can access the discovery service using the below url format as an xml file.
https://host:port/sap/bc/adt/discovery
So the question is, when i try to connect from the webIDE , what would be he first part of the url?
looks like when the webIDE trying to connect to ECC , may be the tool referring the url as
http://localhost:8080/sap/bc/adt/discovery
if it refers with sap webIDE installed host name and port, the discovery service never going to load.
also, do I need to install or updates ADT tools on Eclipse/webIDE?

And I heard sap bpm is not using more is it true?

data records are incresing not because of indexes.
indexes only have imporve the performance and if you did create index it will imporve the performance.
and delete index imporve the loading performance.
can you check the cube consistency in RSRV.

i have a KF that give me minutes aand I'm trying to create a formula with a counter aggregation to count any KF that is less than say 30 but the formula does seem to be working right .
example (KF < 30 ) a aggregation | counter any value that is not zero, null

Source file picking by year and month
Hi Experts,
This is file to FTP scenario. So that nothing to do with ESR objects.
We are not supposed to deleted/archived files from the source path after picking up by PI Sender Channel,scheduler is monthly once. My question is --
Is it possible to picking latest files from the source path without picking old files?
Ex:
FileName Format: <FileName>YYYYMM_Companycode.TXT_<Sequence Number>
Filename201510_ABC.TXT_01 to Filename201510_ABC.TXT_12 and one more indexing file Filename201510_ABC.TXT_DR
Every month 13 files create and process to the Target system. Whenever These files create at the time of next scheduler and the sender channel should be pick latest files only.
