Dear all,

I have faced a problem regarding Bill of Exchange transactions. We have posted a test cheque for a customer and reversed it afterwards.

The record is still shown in the "Presented to Bank" list as shown in the attachment BOE01.png

The portfolio is KE00. How can we remove this record from the aforementioned list?

Is the Screen header correct when you display It 0 using PA20?

Always be prepared to challenge requirements if you can suggest a better way.

Do not confuse a requirement with a proposed solution. The requirement in this instance is to be able to set the schedule for process chains. The solution proposed is "download, modify in Excel, upload".

Years ago, I was asked (by a FICO functional analyst) to make a report downloadable, so that the users could cut and paste the report results from excel into the selection screen of another report. Both reports were custom. I suggested that perhaps they'd like the first report modified so that it could directly call the second report with the selected data. The response was "wow - you can do that?". The users were delighted with the new solution as it made their lives so much easier.

Developers can (and should) have a role in improving user experience. Be proactive.

My Eclipse crashed when I was modifying .hdbdd file and activate it. Now it crashes every time I try to start workspace.

I tried to delete .hdbdd file in web ide editor but I get error:

Error while activating deletion of file: "s0015145715trial.development.machines.data:Machines.__DT_CATALOG_OBJECT__": runtime object not found

When try to open it:

But on left side the file is still there and in schema the tables are also still there.

I'm trying to configure IDOC listener (to be used on MII 15) between SAP ERP HANA Based and Netweaver 7.4 on our AS.

SM59 connection test sucessfully done, but on netweaver side log I traced error

[JRA] Creation of ManagedConnectionFactory default repository failed

Moreover, when I try to update MII IDOC listener on MII, on netweaver side log I traced error

Unable to update configuration.

JRA adapter XMIIIDOC04 must be configured in NW before it can be used.

Failed to create ManagedConnection with properties

The netweaver syste behaves like Listener isn't configured till the end, even if SM59 connection is ok.

Any idea?

Dear Tushar,

You need to assign a RFC destination to a Logical system using transaction BD97. Use the button "Standard BAPI definition" to create the assignment.

Off course first you need to create the logical system using transaction SALE and an RFC destination (SM59).

Maybe someone has a solution / workaround for the problems with the messages. It is very hard to debug when you only can see messages type info to client after executing the whole procedure / function. In the old versions the messages appeared live in the message window of dbisql

Hi Folks,

when you got a prompt on a data source and you enter data Analysis checks if this entered data exists in the data source or it's related master data tables when you switch to another Input field or press okay.

When all is valid little green checkmarks appear next to the Input field if value is not found it displays a message.

In general this behaviour is fine however we face the problem that this check takes several minutes on a HANA view which is fairly complex.

It seems that it tries to validate if it could find the entered entry in the result of the HANA view.

Hence the question if there is a config setting that allows to skip this check for HANA views. It simply takes what was entered in the prompt values without Validation (with the risk that you end up with no data found as you entered invalid values for a plant etc.)

Hello Jay,

if you enter the invoice with the tax code, then the tax gets posted to "Deductable Input Tax - other countries", which is displayed in the balance sheet.

If you like to enter the costs to the P&L instead, you can either enter the gross values and select "001 - Purchase out of scope" -> No Tax is displayed at all!

Or you enter the invoice with the tax and decide by end of month if you repost the tax to the product with a posting. (Use for this posting Tax Management -> Manual Tax Entries).

My client has a requirement to replicate changes of user status of order from ERP to CRM.

As is mentioned in note 905430 it is not supported by standard and if such functionality is needed, I should implement BAdI CRM_DATAEXCHG_BADI.

I have implemented this BAdI. According to documentation I should use method CRM_DATAEXCH_R3D_MBDOC_FILL for updating data that flows from ERP to CRM.

But here I have a problem: when I have debugged replication of status, I did not found in input parameters TI_BAPIMTCS and CT_BUS_TRANS_MSG data that user status has been changed in ERP.

Could anyone explain what should I do to transfer user status of order from ERP to CRM? Should I implement another BAdI in CRM or maybe BAdI on ERP side?
