How to add coloumn to a standard component and pass data
Hi All,
I have a requirement where i need to add a coloumn to a standard table in FPM application.I am able to add the field to the context but i would like to know what code we need to write to display the data.
Can anyone send me some sample code to populate the data to custom field along with the other fields as i am very much new to Webdynpro.

Hi,
No it is not assigned to PI as this characteristics (PPPI_MF_MATERIAL) has chars group PPPI_03
where as the characteristics which are assigned to it like PPPI_MATERIAL has chars group PPPI_01.
Please suggest me how to assign PPPI_MF_MATERIAL to that particular Plant-Instruction Category.
I hope it will solve my problem.

Get material list from SAP ERP to SAP MII
Hello friends, I am new to the world of SAP MII, the problem I can not solve is the following :
I need to get the list of materials in SAP ERP and SAP MII show (in the form of pop up) , the data must show are:
-Data Material
-Warehouse
-Lot
-Quantity
I followed the exercise 22 in SMC3800 manual:
BAPI_MATERIAL_GETLIST a BAPI call through a transaction in SAP MII
So far I did everything right, and from my point of view I built good transaction but when try and run it the following error:
"Error executing transaction : XSD should be in the same route the transaction or in the same web folder"
In my output parameter transaction ( xml) i'm assigning the same route as that of the transaction i'm running, apparently in no time the transaction is executed, because the debug transaction goes blank.
I hope you can help me correct my mistake or if you know any other method to be employed will thank you.

Acessamos a SM34 não consegui entender quais os campos devem ser criados.
E como elé é visualizado no customizing.

Re: Modification Name for changing long text of a message
Hello,
When changes are done in a given Message Class that don´t rely on Original System (Standard SAP or even Customer) and you need to maintain Long Text, the Create Modification dialog appears.
Basically you must enter a name from customer namespace (Starts with Y/Z) in "Modification Name" field and then choose Original Text for "Template Type" field.
For further details see SAP Note 989653.
Then you will be able to enter Long Text for your Message modification. The following picture shows the template for Long Text (in case you need it).

Travel Request Approval Workflow - TS20000189 - Enter and Send Short Message
Hello everybody,
I am using standard task 20000189 to manage the Travel Request when it needs to be reviewed (activity 479 Change trip).
On the APPROVER SIDE
When I test my workflow, and I choose Send travel request back for corrections, I expect to have a popup or something similar to what I get with standard task TS20000139 when I reject a Travel Request (Tcode SWUS / Create Document & Send).
Instead, I am redirected to PR05 as if I was supposed to change the request. And I get a new email notification and a new workflow in my inbox Send Reason Text for Trip Correction that I need to execute in order to send the message to the traveler...
On the TRAVELER SIDE
It gets a mail notification as in TS20000189 saying that he needs to change his request. But he has no WF pending in his inbox...
Is that normal? How can I get the same result as in task TS20000139?

I hope this may able to help you, You have make changes for serial number profile that you are using.
1. Goto T-Code SPRO -->Plant Maintenance and Customer Service->Master Data in Plant Maintenance and Customer Service
2. Click on Technical Objects --> Serial Number Management
3. Define Serial number profiles, then select the serial number that you are using, then double click on the serializing procedures
4. Then for MMSL Procedure Change the Serial Usage --SerUsage indicator value from 2 to 3.
Try to verify the same creating PO then performing the MIGO

BPC Security
Hi,
We are currently implementing Consolidation on EPM 10 NW . We
are required to set up security such that a user can view the Data
Manager Packages run by others however should not have the ability the abort Data
Manager Packages.
Currently, we have found the only way for the user to be able
to see the DM packages run by other users is to provide the task -
Cancel User Packages. However Cancel user packages privides the ability to Abort the packages.
We need to have another task added to just give view acces ( to DM packages run by him and others ) without
providing the ability to Cancel / AbortUser Packages.
We tested with providing " run packages " and " Run Admin packages" taskes. These taskes allow users to see only those DM packages which were run by him/her. Is there a way to segregate these two taskes- view DM packages and ability to cancel DM packages.

I don't believe that I have come across a way in which to do this only for certain plans. My current client has them all set up to run through 12/31/9999 with new plans being created 1/1/XXXX during open enrollment. I guess you could always try and look into writing a BDC or creating a dynamic action or even getting with an ABAPer to write you a simply utility program.
