I am entry level ABAPer,, so not sure if I will be able to handle the complexity of changing the Badi, also is it worth investing time ? I mean we always have an option of adding multiple entries via Admin.. please advise.

The Text table for material master is table MAKT.
Field MAKT-MAKTX contains the material description and can be read based on MATNR & SPRAS.
You need to have this field in your BRF+ design so that data can be fetched and used.
If you are looking for something else then post more details about your requirement and how BRF+ is used in your scenario.

Along with the introduction of BW on HANA (starting with release 7.3) SAP revised its Enterprise Data Warehousing best practice and reference model LSA: it became LSA++. It is streamlined with and optimized for HANA. It is therefore also applicable for subsequent releases, i.e. 7.4 and 7.5 (and any future releases).

You need a certificate from CA when using Fiori Client. (Self-signed certificate does not work in this case).
You can also use web browser in your mobile device to logon Fiori URL with ignoring certificate problem.

Could anybody please let me know how Fiori App triggers oData service methods and gets data to browser. Lets say i have a Fiori (CRUD or Master - detail app) and im using a custom odata service which has an entity set referring to a Z table. I have implemented (Re-define) few of methods (get_entityset, get_entity, insert and execute_action) in this custom odata service. If i use this service in one of my Fiori project (as Template) how fiori app will consume backend data by using these Redefined methods.
Could anybody please guide me on this.

Finally, the script which worked for me was the following. I was not able to use XDIM_PACKAGEBY for an unknown reason. Most probably due to lower ramp-up SP level.
As Vadim suggested, RUNLOGIC_PH will help to decrease the time this script currently takes to run.
